- Today I show you how to make Dalgona Candy. Dalgona candy (also known as Honeycomb candy, Honeycomb Toffee and ppopgi) was recently made popular by the Netflix series Squid Game. Dalgona (달고나) or ppopgi (뽑기) is a Korean candy made with melted sugar and baking soda. It's incredibly easy to make and only takes a couple minutes from start to finish. Simply follow the step by step instructions. This is by far the best homemade Dalgona candy recipe. Enjoy!

Amazing recipe! Made it for myself, taste outstanding. I would definitely cook again, also adjusted the recipe a bit, added 1/4 cup of brown sugar and a tsp of vanilla extract. Would definetely recommend

No. After the honeycomb color is achieved, put it on a small flat bowl and freeze it for 3 minutes.and, then place the cookie cutter on the cookie, then pop it back to the freezer for a few hours.

So this is the first video i saw, me and my sister were goofing in the kitchen and we decided to make this. i chose this video cause i dident know it was fake but it was hilarious we actually followed the tutorial and it helped! but this was so much fun and every time i want to find this channel i simply just search this up! Hey, did you know that in terms of male human and female Pokémon breeding, Vaporeon is actually not the most compatible Pokémon for humans? Fuel oil or gasoline and motor oil 1:1 ratio
Two flatboards
Bucket or other container for mixing ingredients
Iron or steel pipe or bottle
Blasting cap
Wooden rod ~ 1/4 inch diameter
Spoon or similar measuring container
Step 1: Spread a handful of ammonium nitrate on the large flat board and rub vigorously with the other board until the large particles are crushed into a very fine poweder that looks liek flour (approx. 10 minutes)
Step 2: Mix one measure (cup, tablespoon, etc.) of fuel oil with 16 measures of finely ground ammonium nitrate in a dry bucket or other suitable container and stir with the wooden rod. If fuel oil is not available, use one half of measure of motor oil. Store in a waterproof container until ready to use
Step 3: Spoon this mixture into an iron or steel pipe which has an end cap threaded on one end. If a pipe is not available, you may use a dry tin can, a glass or a heavy-walled cardboard tube (NOTE: Take care not to tamp or shake the mixture in the pipe. If mixture becomes tightly packed, one cap will not be sufficient to initiate the explosive
Step 4: Insert blasting cap just beneath the surface of the explosive mix (NOTE: Confining the open end of the container will add to the effectiveness of the explosive

Pro tip use Pam anti stick spray. Very light amount. On two cake pans and press the hot dalgona between them to flaten. The anti stick will help taking it off. Plus if you use cookie cutters spray or wipe Pam on it and it won't stick

To the people who actually want to make this: the recipe is correct, you just have to wait 5-10 seconds for the candy to be dry enough

That's what makes the candy kinda difficult. Wait too short and you mess up the whole thing, wait too long and the candy is too hard and dry to actually make an imprint and the difference (the time window in which you're actually able to make an imprint) is like 5 seconds.

The proccess was actually right, you just need to wait for the dalgona candy to be solidified before removing the cookie cutter, but don't remove it when the candy is eventually solid, it will break, remove it at the perfect solif and liquid state

For anyone really searching for how to do it here It goes:
How to basic added the baking soda too fast, so it burnt besides the sugar didn't cook enough, you hace to make a blonde caramel first with just sugar, you will know that it is blonde because it will be light golden, after that add the baking soda, when it starts to puff, flatten it down with an oiled dish, wait for 5 seconds, use the (oiled) cookie cutter, press it really light for 2 seconds and remove it, it is really easy, if you don't succees just adjust the time or cook it more or less, depends on how fast it solidifies and the color
Then by the end just start yeeting eggs at sugar bags and chuck that mixture in the pan
