I think the reason for these young men are being overlooked is because they are coming from the word, and living it instead just doing it for a show or for the money.

The point is that God wants us to take delight in Him. Our desires are just a bonus.
He will, Malinda. Hebrews 12:6 tells us that he disciplines those He loves and punished those He calls sons (and daughters!). He does all of this to bring us home and to show us our great need for HIm. Trust His word and not your heart. Cry out once again; He will never leave nor forsake you.

It wasn't born out of wanting just to feel good, or wanting some sort of affirmation, it was born out of what God decided to do for us. Totally out of our control. He paid for sin. He was slain. Brutally murdered. To show us what our thoughts of Him really were. Yet He is the only way of salvation. Our intimate Provider of all good things, we have a Father because of Jesus. The Father understands us because He understands Jesus. He understands His creation, He's the author of it (us). There is nothing hidden from His face. He is in immaculately in love with you (us) and longs for a deeper heartfelt relationship with you (us). This was born out of a real heart’s desire for pure, undefiled intimacy, hoping that maybe one day, He'll have more of us. Makes me think about how we should be treating each other.
