Thanks for the great Tutorial! Just one question, how I can add more electrons on the curves? I tried to duplicate but they dont follow the curves corretly.

I ran into an incredibly frustrating problem when trying to apply the materials to my spheres. I’ve done a slightly modified version of the tutorial which basically just has less spheres, so mine only has three. My problem is when I switch to edit mode it will only show the vertices for one of the spheres and will NOT allow me to select the other spheres to apply a different material to them, whether I’m using the L method or selection menu or anything. Anytime I apply the material it applies it to all three. I need help figuring out what I’m doing wrong. Thanks 🙏

I got it… just make the offset of curve 0… use scaling to deceased is size

@@AkshayMusic-km2ek Yes! I got like a perfect score in my Performance Task with this! Thanks still though! Appreciate it!

hi if u want to add more elektrons on same circle, just click on sphere (shift + d to duplicate) go to fallow path for the new just created sphere
, go to offset and just add to the new sph
ere a different value to frame (+20) something like (frame+20)*0.05

Thanks for the tutorial. Do you know by any chance how I would make this loop?

really nice and helpful tutorial. Still I have a question. Is it possible to animate multiple electrons following one circle (path) instead of just one electron? I need two or more electrons to follow the path as it is shown in the tutorial. If you or someone knows how to do it, please let me know.

this is a fantastic tutorial, thanks for making such a video, I have a question about how to add more electrons in each shell orbital? I tried to add more than 3 electrons but I can’t separate them.

I tried to do it like you did. But already the array was not working. The spheres did not follow the circly they were going out into the "orbit" far away sadly

i think what you are having problem is you cant bring them together so this is a (easy) fix
      (1) press [tab] to go to edit mode then select the sphere ( the one he selected) using either [L] or selecting them manually
      (2) then do what he said press G then double press Z
      and bring it together
he is using a older version of blender

You need to zero out the position it will have the position by default to an earlier setting you need to zero them out to bring it to the ring

I ran into the same issue. The reason was that little step he does right after he sets the count for the number of spheres in the array but just before he adjusts the rotation. He hits ctrl+a and selects apply all transforms. Before I did that all my spheres were gradually bigger and further away from each other. Applied transforms and they popped right back into place. Hope this helps people
