This challenge I presumed would be nearly impossible as the flying units will be hard to stop without the battle mecha. Also, lol at the reaction when you finally got the battle mecha. Those things are the best tower in my opinion.
Can You Beat Kingdom Rush's Elite Stages with only the most powerful Tower that ever existed? The Tesla x104? Personally, I don't think its possible because the Blackburn Stages and the Fungal Forests, but you can certainly try the other ones like Sarelgaz's lair and Hushwood. Maybe. If you're brave enough... You can even... Attempt... Pandemonium.... So are you up for it?

I too don't think that Tesla is not the best even in original KR (for me Rangers are the most useful, as I use them at every level at least once), but Overcharge ability of Tesla is really OP. It's just this game has more than explosive damage needed.
@@PolishGod1234 opinion but Tesla deals more damage, never misses, deals with spaced enemies way better, deals chip damage with it’s electricity upgrade thing so it can kill weaker enemies and focus on stronger enemies. Not to mention it can target flying units directly and not rely on abilities to do so, plus it is way cheaper than Big Bertha (I mean not way way but it’s cheaper). I really like Big Bertha, I really do, but when everyone uses 1 tower for the rest of the game, you know it’s damn broken
Apparently, you can beat the final level with just five Mechas and no hero... It's absolutely gross. The way to do it is to purposefully not destroy the maximum number of Shreds every time he reforms. This prevents him from destroying towers, somehow. He will only be able to destroy when he is on the final reform (with only 2 Shreds left, so 1/5 health), and with a good Rain of Fire and focused fire, you can beat him.

I never liked artillery much (excluding Tesla in kr) until I played Frontiers. Seeing the DWAARP and Battle Mecha (online) gave me a new respect for them damn bangin' (literally) dwarves
Not sure if you've done this one. There is a level in kingdom rush called hushwood. This level appears after ves'nan is defeated, can you beat it using only barracks, or all towers but the maximum level you can get them at is level 3!

Honestly, the Mecha even makes the Tesla look balanced, though that’s probably only because of the games they’re in. If Mecha was in KR1 instead of Big Bertha (since that is it’s closest analogue in that game), I think it’d be just as useful as the Tesla (with the KR1 upgrades). That rally point really allows for a lot of flexibility, and in Kingdom Rush, I’ve found that’s just as important as having a solid wall of stuff in front of something. Somehow the mecha is actually more ridiculous with a proper chokepoint, as shown in the Jungle’s final level. 2 mechas there with alric and reinforcements -> just shreds crowds. Even big enemies don’t come out of hampered for the rest of your defenses, it’s extremely ridiculous.
I used battle mechas only on the final boss and all of the missiles stunned his blobs so bad that he glitched out and wouldn't reform and i got stuck because they become immune to damage after a while 😢
Most of the time almost every single challenge can be done without reinforcements or rain of fire or heroes honestly. Some cannot, but I think the majority of challenges I’ve done don’t NEED these extra things. But if I could go back, yes I think I would be more of a purist. I may do some in the future
cool challenge idea i had a similar idea where im trying to beat kingdom rush origins using only mages and it has went quite well up untill stage 9 where the swarms of magic resistant enemys ends up overwhelming me neer the end so its cool to see a diffrent tower able to do it
Yea im curently trying to beat frontiers with that same ruleset of only allowing magic towers to be built and it went well till stage 9 where the parasyte and spider matriarc spam neer the end overwhelms and since the necromancers aoe attack doesnt even affect the spiders that just makes it harder. Cronan helps minimize the amount of spammed enemies with his rhino ability but even at max upgrades the cooldown is too long to deel with all of them himself.
@@therealmorganofficial starting from level 3 the sape Oasis. Again I bet that you can't beat the game If you reset all progress and start from the complete beginning. and the only Hero you could use is alric who Beginns on Level one.

I used him a few times actually and he failed miserably. He cannot shoot out his green demon breath ability at flying enemies, so he gets obliterated on that part! But Dante combined with good reinforcements and a good meteor drop kills enough wasps to do the trick! I was about to give up honestly.
I tried this on the steam version. I found it to be impossible, as the only hero you get which can damage the wasps on stage 4 is Mirage. Maybe if you grind her to level 10 and play on easy it would be possible to do, but I ain't got time for that.
@@therealmorganofficial Do keep in mind that my run was on a fresh save! War Champion usually goes for challenge runs where he has already cleared the game and therefore has all upgrades and heroes unlocked already. With all heroes and upgrades, it is quite doable.

Tesla is not that strong tbh. I think Big Bertha is better because of it's bigger range and area damage and also having better abilities.
