The universe is a complete unique entity. Everything and everyone is bound together with some invisible strings. Do not break anyone's heart; do not look down on weaker than you. Yes, it will, Linda, if we open ourselves to it. Because when we're open, energy flows naturally, inside us and between us. And we find that it's not only with music, that's what helps us open up but that's 'just' the beginning. There are no limits to what we can be, we are in essence divine, just like all other beings. So keep listening to music, real music, not the stuff that's part of the propaganda machine coming out of radio, tv, and various other outlets. This pollution is invading our space all the time and so we need to be very discerning. Only music from the heart is real, and therefore only our hearts can recognize it. It's one of the greatest blessings in our lives...

My dear friend, with my all respect, I'd like make a few points. First and foremost, 'Ney' is a Turkish instrument (despite the fact that it comes from a farsi name 'nay') howsoever, not Arabic at all. Further, duduk is Armenian as far as I'm concerned, yet played in many eastern provinces of Turkey. Setar is not completely arabic as well, rather farsi, and besides used in the far east as well. To my knowledge they are not the same. All in all though you were right about Oud :)
