A huge respect to Thom for managing to preserve his voice through decades.
@ghost mall Mostly true, but i've seen in recent times he's struggling more and more, which is natural I suppose seeing as he's getting old.
@@MrPallable he sounded great on that smile record though
@@Ihavetoomanyvolvos Mostly agree.
@@MrPallable shut up!
I mean that's his job.
We live in an age where almost anyone, no matter how poor, can see a Radiohead concert in full. Looking back on my childhood in the 90s and 00s, this would have been beyond my wildest dreams. Thank you future
Actually, we can watch any concert we want💕. Some shows are on the utuber the next day.
except where people dont have access to technology. Sad...
This isn't a good thing. I'm an economics student. People will have no incentive to buy concert tickets if they can watch it free somewhere. How are bands supposed to monetize? Direct music sales (CD/Vinyl) is already dead. Concert ticket revenue is all they have left.
@@ITIonoxide did you not see that radiohead themselves uploaded the video? so much for an economics degree 😹 don’t go to school kids, it doesn’t do anything for your common sense!
@@NealCaen Read my comment again. I'm referring to bands to at the grassroots level, not established ones like RH who can afford to. Go to school kids, so you don't end up illiterate!

All of these are wrong? There all about 2 mins too early
@@Adam-ro8vj Nope, all good. If it is a little bit early, it’s probably Thom talking.
Once I saw where someone said, "Every Radiohead song is like an existential crisis." My experience is that every Radiohead song is like the *resolution* of an existential crisis.
i fucking love radiohead but i have to agree some of their songs are like an extisential crisis, which is why i love them haha, for example ‘the national anthem’
Few...
No Surprises is one of my favorite Radiohead songs, but not as a resolution to an existential crisis (see also Exit Music (for a Film)).
@@Schwinn2300, sometimes the mere communicability of angst is enough to take its edge off. And oftentimes knowing we're not alone in it makes it manageable. While that doesn't solve everything, it at least opens space for improvement. And that, to me, counts as movement from crisis to (re)construction.
@@naturalizedplatonism Buddhist radioheads...
Thom (after playing Bloom) : "If you don't know Radiohead...you are probably thinking what the f*ck is goin' on here? That's good, that's the idea. That's why we're here." (proceeds to play Identikit 😎)

Colin on exit music is next level here!
Hell yeah, he tears "I might be wrong" up, just fantastic stuff.
@@Cubroncs03 Better than the studio version!
This is Radiohead in all its glory. Incredible performance
Agreed
Been lucky enough to witness their fitness 2xs in this lifetime. Don't know the words to explain.
being in that audience was something else, all just superfans in awe
Shepherd's Chapel Network !!!!!!! Pastor Murray is an Anointed Servant of GOD who teaches the Word of GOD with Authority!!!!!!!
Not really. Honestly it was a good performance but far from being one of their best.
They could randomly generate 20 songs from their catalogue and the quality would still be incredible, their discography is a once in a lifetime experience
So lucky and grateful to live in the same time as them
At Home With Radiohead - Friday Edition
* On A Friday
@@LetsRaZe I love you
@@LetsRaZe It's been a while since I've watched The Beat Goes On, so I forgot about the On a Friday days of Radiohead.
At home is stooopid, It was a farce. Get out and live your lives, you just wasted over a year of your lives that you will never get back...based on politicians spewing crap. You are a bunch of sheep. Amazingly the influenza season just disappeared!!! You dummies.
@@naps3386 hey man slow down
I picked Radiohead over Kaskade at Coachella. My gf went to see Kaskade. We broke up a couple of months later. She is now married and I am single (and very very sad)...
but this concert was amazing! I would do it again.
Great choice my friend, how are you doing now?
Jonny’s hunchback while he plays piano is too powerful i love it
1:34:24 Thom improvising after a mistake is my favorite part
Seamless though, I don't think anyone noticed
in the music doesn't exist the mistake :B
Love it too.. : )). Another favorite is 1:53:20 : ))
It happens. Good job staying on track and not letting the train derail.

i feel like if I stood here in the crowd and heard those first notes of daydreaming starting to play, I would literally pass out of excitement. I wish I had the opportunity to see them live.
I Know I'll probably never get to see them live, and this kills me every single day
I'v seen those guys😅
Man the bass on this mix is insane. Hats off to the engineers
Most underrated bassist of all time.
Daydreaming is a great song to start the show with change my mind
i think it’s better to end the show with
It’s sets the mood, for sure.
I won't be changing your mind. It is an excellent show opener.
I agree with you, this was the best opener out of all three (this one, Burn The Witch, and Let Down) used for the AMSP tour.
It’s not bad. Radioheads best opener is 2+2=5 in my opinion though. Best to start with something that builds to an explosion.
This was one of my favorite concert experiences I’ve ever had and I’ve seen literal thousands of shows at this point. Seen Radiohead a total of five times over the years but this particular show was at Coachella, I was surrounded by 13 or 14 of my closest friends and we all just experienced this beautiful moment in music and time. Unforgettable and I’m so grateful for it.
thats so nice :)
sounds amazing id kill to experfience this
@@miagummy3430 no dont kill pls.
I'm sorry but you haven't seen thousands of shows. That is such a large amount of shows, dude. At minimum that is one show a night every night for 5 and a half straight years. And you definitely didn't do that. I'd agree with hundreds no problem.
@@jcout25 your math is off. Try 50 and a half straight years. When I said thousands I meant it and I wasn’t exaggerating. I’ve personally played hundreds of shows myself with locally successful bands when I was younger… granted most of those were dive bars and small venues but I have actually played the same stage that Radiohead and Hendrix once did.
Sound quality is amazing. Colin and Phil are champions here.
Fucjin Colin, man. Wow
Jonny's posture when he plays piano!!
I start questioning my existence everytime I listen to "Everything in It's right place"

Haha thoms little slip up in paranoid Android was cute. He still saved it and made it weirdish for the song itself so it worked
I was at this show, the shrooms really kicked in and I was all the way in front. What can i say, it was a beatifull experience. I started crying (not profusely just tears coming out) and i looked around if i was the only one feeling this and EVERYBODY next to me was litterally in awe and in tears, sort of like hypnotized. Then this guy said it was an honor to be alongside us at this particular time in moment. I will never forget this show, unbelievable. Radiohead is life.
Happy Radiohead (On a) Friday's.
Great musicians constantly exploring and evolving their sound, big fan!

Best Rock Band Ever. It is amazing how these guys music evolved though the years.
yet if you listen to the 15 track On A Friday demo from 1990… you can see that experimental "anything goes" attitude was there from the very beginning! but yes…. they are the absolute greatest
It was amazing. I feel like I was there. Thank you Radiohead. You definitely made my Friday great.
Over the moon that your doing this again!! Hopefully I will see you guys tour!!!
Colin's bass sound was incredible on this tour.
Amazing as always!!! Hope to see you soon live again
That 15 Steps performance is mastered at its highest level. Everytime they come with a new version which makes them the best in the world. Period!
I love that they go back and create new or use other possibilities they had on older songs. They don’t get bored and we get a new gift. I think of Morning Bell and wonder how many other songs have the same treatment. Same lyrics but two totally different songs. I’d love an album of those!
I can't get enogh of these videos. Keep em comin'

Loving this big time.Bloom sounds 👌
Its been over 20 years since OK Computer was released - I cant believe how it still connects with me, almost throws me right back in 1996 - and I dont seem to be alone, so many of the songs here are from those times! If the 'Pyramid song' does the same thing for the new gen that it did for me then....oh WOW! Thats it, really....
Thanks so much for this! 💜
Listening to Radiohead is at times pure bliss. They are so ultra-laidback. They are hypnotic at times and super realistic at others. Radiohead are an artform!

I've seen Radiohead many times, including twice at Coachella,
but not recently. Just when you thought you didn't care much about rock bands anymore...this is superb production quality and a great performance. Thanks for posting!
Whole lot of great bands out there if you know where to find them.
Dawg I’ve been looking for this for a long time, gg
The drum parts/groove on Myxomatosis goes harddd, Phil Selway and Radiohead always delivers🔥
There is no better band in the history of everything than Radiohead.
radiohead is always so tight. i love thom’s vocal hijinx and just the quality only a master with experience with the song can lax off into the mic.
besides the movement affecting the voice and his weaker higher range at higher volumes and he’s just tired.
i love him so much. if i need an excuse, it’s because he says things i would if i were incognito king of the world, like: don’t get any big ideas…
love,
david
