I have been using my @MotusNova robotic hand device for an hour a day for the last few months and I have been seeing progress in my hand. I was surprised I could pick up the paper clips.

I have found shopping cart racks are excellent aids for stroke therapy. A half hour of leg stretching, walking forward, backward and sideways using the rack as a parallel bar with my good hand is more beneficial than walking with my cane at home. Walking the rack "hands free" with no cane is also much safer than at home, as I have the rack rail right there for support if I falter. Cart racks are usually open at one or both ends, encouraging "hands free" walking as you go from one rail to the other. Handicap ramps have handrails, and stairs nearby for added challenge.
Having a tall cold cup of cola in the car is a great refresher after 20 or 30 minutes and leg-stretching exercises on the racks.

My first time viewing your webpage and found it to be quite interesting. Yes I’m a stroke patient since 2015 and has foot drop. Still not walking correctly. I also didn’t have an effective therapy experience. I’m still working at it and will not give up. What foot drop equipment you recommend since my 2015 stroke that’s would be effective???
I had a massive stroke in 2021 and was in intensive neurorehabilitation for 1.5 years. I was discharged with the ability to stand up and take a few steps, compensatory skill with a cane or leaning on the wall. I still have severe spasticity and nerve pain on my left side and zero use of my left arm and hand. It is very frustrating. I continue to exercise at home but hoping to find things that could help. I was told that I'll have this disabilities all my life but I don't want to accept that. I'm a permanent resident in Copenhagen but can't find too many gadgets here to help me. And yes, I also have very limited funds, so I'm researching all the time and hoping and praying. Thank you for these tips

I need to be able to grab things with my fingers I cannot lay my left hand flat
I bought a lot of beverages online not knowing which ones to buy was hard but when I got I could not get help to put it on the home help where not allowed to put on anything that I got online and the same was with the nhs I am wearing the riche brace and walk a lot better than the 1s I got from the nhs and I am not falling now if I would have got the Ritchie brace earlier I would be walking 🚶 now stroke care when u get out of the hospital they don’t want to know walking is the most important thing to learn just sitting around is no good my name is Anthony I had a mojor stroke 8years ago and I listed my left side and I was left handed and its hard with no help buying on line but this is what I found out about buying online Anthony
i feel you mate same thing here 3 years sgo mine was i bought a tense machine from Amazon n its helped me get movement bsck in my bsd arm and leg it may help you try it mate n goodluck in you're recovery
My friend had a stroke and couldn't speak clearly. She also had difficulty swallowing. I thought of something that fixed all that in less than a day. No kidding. I brought her some Juicy Fruit gum, because it has real sugar and the syrupy secretions you get when chewing are easy to swallow. Chewing gum and rolling it around with your tongue is good exercise for your mouth and you have better control when speaking.
I had a brain injury my right side arm doesn't work I cant move my fingers my wrist or my arm, I don't have therapy anymore, what do you guys suggest to strengthen my wrist, my finger , and my arm? Overall movement and flexibility that's what I need , I would really appreciate a detailed video or response, thanks 🙏🏼

Do you think that a seizure several months after a stroke should prohibit you from using an Estim device ?
Hi there - Seizures can be a contraindication for using an e-stim device. We recommend consulting with your physician first before using one on your affected limb.
I had a stroke during covid no pt and family abandoned me in the hospital now I'm 53 and stuck in a nursing home with a paralyzed lot side praying for death on a daily basis

I understand what you feel. I'm 57 years old also suffering from stroke disabilities but blessed to have a committed husband who helps me. If you still have your cognitive abilities, you are very blessed. I met many patients who can't even form heir sentences. I'll be praying for you. If you have money, try going to Dr. TOBInick in Florida. Maybe you can have a Healthcare professional to accompany you. God bless you on your rogress and journey. Fighting!
