The Rant changed my life. He improvised the whole thing. Instead of just taking the boos and walking off early, he torches the entire city for 14 minutes with a scorching tirade of fire. Stopping only to count down each minute left like some kind of sadistic whipping. His way of saying “fuck you”. Absolute chad move. 👑

This was the most brilliant strategy I've ever seen in comedy history. Hecklers being absolutely owned for 15 minutes. This was the best improv I've ever seen. He could've been weak and walked off the stage but he stood there and kept swinging and ended up winning the fight. Who goes into a hostile environment and trashes the entire city and at the end has the crowd actually clapping and praising his performance. He became one of my favorite comedians after I first saw this about 7 years ago. And the time countdown was genius

Burr said that it was one of those rare outdoor day/night shows that just went way wrong. The audience was drunk as hell and were heckling all the comedians like Tracy Morgan, Bob Saget, Dom Irrera, Patrice O'Neal. He said that some of the comics didn't even go out. He was pissed and the rest is history.
Have you heard his set where he talks about how he got his dog, Cleo? Or getting her a trainer to make her chill out? Not only is it hilarious, he also gives some pretty damn insightful observations about understanding animal behavior. And he delivers it in such a casual, no-nonsense style. I love it.

Burr said that it was one of those rare outdoor day/night shows that just went way wrong. The audience was drunk as hell and were heckling all the comedians like Tracy Morgan, Bob Saget, Dom Irrera, Patrice O'Neal. He said that some of the comics didn't even go out. He was pissed and the rest is history.
