    Excellent Derek , yes the old butter route . Into the Butter Exchange next door to the Shandon Bells just of Shandon St adjacent to the City Center. Lovely piece of history and well done for sharing 🇮🇪🇮🇪

    You probably passed our thatch cottage. That bridge you were walking on is over the Léim an Mhadra river, and if you looked to your right just before the bridge there’s a lane way down to a really secluded pier that fishermen used to use when they were out in the bay. There’s also lots of famine houses all along that road.
