The Escort MK2 is still in a very usable condition. I would immediately make it fit as a street racing car! It would be funny to sit on the "wrong driver's side" (smile) But it's sad about the Capri MK3 2.8i, in this very nice special paint job.

Nice re-visit bud. I had an Escort Popular as my first car, but it was the 'Popular Plus' version. It was still really basic and completely gutless. I still miss it though...

Like the Escort the Capri would be high priced too. Bet owner wants 4g ish. The wheels on the Escort look like Fiesta Super Sport alloys because of the off set. The red Jeep with the Range Rovers may be a Jago Jeep kit car built off a mk1 or mk2 Escort. Think im a bit of a Ford fan 🙂 Its good to see revisits. Keep up the great vlogs 👍👍👍

Oh mate three door Range Rovers are cool. My late dad always wanted one and finally got one it was his last car .Seeing all those sitting there rotting is beyond me. £10k for that Escort ! he's having a laugh. As for the Capri £3-500 max . Strip out the interior ,that's where the money is.Sell the alloys scrap the rest. The sun roof wind guard on the roof is very rare now that too would be worth saving. I'm at the time of life when if you are going to save a car it has to be running and not rotting in a field .But you are a lot younger so it wouldn't be problem so good luck if you buy it.
When you put a car on a soft ground like that for many years they for sure will get destroyed by severe rust. Sad for the Capri who most probably is scrap by this date. Thanks for the video. 👍

Great revisits, that Capri despite the rot, could at least give life to other cars, at least if you could see underneath it ‘might’ even be saveable.. but a massive project. Check out Anglia Car Auctions last few sales to see what they are making. He’s dreaming on the Escort Mk2, values are mad but it’s not worth £10k for basically a shell. The Range Rovers are indeed a crying shame, as indeed was that Isuzu Trooper and they are rare now.

Was offered €600 just for a 2.8 back axle a few months ago.

@@gazukroberts4690 You couldn't give the glass away. Mate of mine got one for banger racing and put a hammer through the windows as nobody wanted them. Pulled it out of a hedge, was a total rotter.
All he sold off it was the rear axle, diff & propshaft when he scrapped it, had no engine or box to begin with. Just a rolling shell with half the interior and a boot spoiler.
£300 - £400 for a 2.8 injection Capri is a joke. Be lucky to get the front seats for that sort of money if they aren't ripped, but realistically anything over a grand and it isn't worth the time. Long past any restoration so only a donor car.
@@nathanpinder4928 the glass is worth a couple of hundred sheets easy mate the I'd alone is worth that to just because tour pal coul9resist his inner child doesn't make it worthless, it's like this a mechanic's tool box is worthless to a carpenter it's all about finding the right buyer and in today's market capri's are only heading one way in price it would be a bargain at 400 sheets but it would be worth 1500 to the right person

As somebody on here has already mentioned, im pretty sure that the black 3 door is a very rare CSK. Available only in black around 1990 and only as a 3 door. They werent even making 3 doors at that time. As far as rarity goes, imagine finding a 280 Brooklands capri sat rotting in a field? If it is a real CSK, its rarer and shouldnt be there.

Yep,it's a CSK allright. 2 doors were normally being made,but the 2 doors never had the luxury Vogue or Vogue SE trim. Also no atomatic or 3.9V8. The CSK was the 20th anniversary model and the first 2 door sporting all the goodies the normal 4 doors could already be had with. It was at the time in manuel trim the fastest production RRC to that date.
They had a VERY limited production run and if i remember correctly only UK RHD versions were built/sold.
Good clean examples go for crazy money,i've seen an original very clean one going for 150K...in £££.
A long time 2 doors weren't desireable in the UK,so the ones that did got sold were ran into the ground.
Not to mention the other 2 doors standing there....at least 3 Suffix A i quickly saw. And i know,i had 2 of them for 13 years. These are very different in lots of details and are regarded as the first and only Range Rover in its pure form.
Funny how most people comment on 5he Fords,while the real money are some of those 2 doors.

We mustn’t forget that as with all cars in the classic market that a major part of their ongoing value and steady appreciation is the fact that they are so rare, so bringing lots more back would have mixed results I think 🤔…
Funny how most people comment on the Fords,while the real money sits in some of these 2 door RRC. I saw a real CSK,lots of early to late '70 models and last but least couple Suffix A....the very first Range Rover range that came out. Very sought after and HIGLY desireable now,specially since JLR have it's factory restoration program since couple of years.
The 6 wheel RR is also very rare and if its the 6x6 version ultra rare.
I owned 5 2 door RRC 3.5 V8 over 20 years,2 being a Suffix A of which 1 i fully restored and owned for 12 years.
Also working on them as a job for 20 years.
If you want one,be prepared to spend huge amount of money on bodyparts now. All service and engine parts are relative cheap and easy to get.

Its worth whatever anyone is willing to pay, in theory if someone has a mint 1, but needs a few original bits the capri could well be worth the investment, what youd be better doing is trawling a few capri forums etc and seeing what sort of prices parts are going for. But some of the parts will be worth a pretty penny thats for sure. After a short glance, mint condition 12k to 20k for the whole vehicle, so with that in mind, a few hundred and your onto a winner, its just finding the right people for the parts

Black Range Rover Reg - JSU 862 on checks comes back on 2007 Volkswagen transporter..
He's not far off the money for the escort tbh it's not a dealer ship the guy will bid high first obviously I'd say it's worth 7k it's pretty much all there plus been a 2door makes it even more valuable as for the capri it's got be worth 2k plus easy, yes the body works rotten but easily replaceable, the cats id is worth 500 alone it's the 2.8i special not your average capri, half of these comments people arnt seen the wood for the trees and looking at a quick buck witch is what killed most of these cars off in the first place, a fully restored mk2 2 door can go easily in excess of 20k plus and that's the low end of the price and the capri is only going one way in value but these kind of cars arnt for the everyday car guy there better in the hands of someone who can fully restor a car from the ground up, either way love the content and have just as much fun reading through the comments, keep the content coming buddy 👌

There’s a couple of really rare range rovers in that first location, some early 2 doors and the black 2 door I think was a CSK and only 200 were made, it’s worth money!
Also there’s a Range Rover LSE which is the long wheel base and was a very luxurious vehicle in the 90s. Such a shame these are left like this especially that CSK.

You will take any old stray home 😅. Doubt the capri is worth much more than 4/500 notes. The Escort looks a nice solid car from the outside, but I think it’s a lot of money for what it is.
I would offer £1200 for the capri, it would break for £2500 easy, or just put it straight on ebay for more.

Land rover/Rangerover great but sad location, there's so much there that genuine people would want, the ford's are also a great collectable, but in that condition there only worth what there worth sadly, too far gone just parts possibly now.
I'm surprised by the 2 Door Range Rovers. The CSK is rare and valuable, there's a couple of early suffix cars there which are worth saving (even the Lincoln green one). I've got a restored '74 Suffix B in Lincoln green, it's my favourite of the launch colours on a 2 door
This is why these cars are left to rot cause the owners over value them, only when the owner passes away they can be sold for the true value but for most of them they are too far gone by then.

You should’ve said I’m rich into mate, see how much she wants for it very new won’t be a lot so say about 1500 quid for it then it could be less than that. Could be about a grand and sit in there. You don’t know how long it’s been sitting there watching like you don’t know what the underneath is like the floor, the chassis hard to say one over on the headquarters of graphite grey one metalflake a blue has been there since 2007 standing on the grass raining right now

The Capri bodyshell is toast. The engine, trans, side skirts, spoilers, glass house, seats and interior trim may be salvageable. You could try and find a Capri 1300 or 1600 Calypso for a good donor body and re-shell as a 2.8. Problem is destroying a nice 1300 or 1600 Calypso is just as bad as letting the 2.8 rott. Neither are worth it, you could make money breaking whats left of the Capri.
That's it buddy! I want to save it but at what cost!! I think the best thing to do is see what I can actually get it for b4 I make any decisions! Thanks for the info buddy appreciate it!
Capris still worth money in parts , if the dash is mint without any cracks then thats rare and worth its money in gold alone , recaros again worth money , eng if not siezed and gearbox … can make some money off that car breaking it but im guessing if he wants 10k for the escort he ent guna let it go cheaply
