@@notthisguyagain8557 I think they might torque limit the manuals for transmission longevity, and the turbo lag would be a symptom of that tuning - just a theory
I’m still trying to figure out why/how the m240i is so much better looking lol it’s the only thing stopping me from getting an m2. I want manual but this thing is hideous and the 240i is great looking. M3 I love but it’s too much money. I don’t know what to do 😂
I prefer the 2018 version. New one is ugly in my opinion. Yes i know more technology but i like the 2018 half analog-half digital speedometer dashboard and half auto-half manual gearshifter. There is none of them in the 2024 version. And the outside of 2018 version is absolutely lovely🤤🤤❤
depends what your feeling. if it’s a daily do an auto but if it’s more of weekend ride plus every other friday, do manual. i’m going with the auto because it’s going to be my daily.
I don‘t exactly know about the M2. I can only tell you about the M240i 2023 maybe as a reference. I get 550km to 650km of range on average depending on temperature. Now in -10 degrees Celsius I get around 480km. In summer when I did a trip to Berlin, which is 700km away from me I had a total range of 865km on a single tank since I drove 115 km/h in eco pro. The M2 as an automatic should maybe have 50km less of range?!
Fortunately many people do not think like you and it is being sold like hot cakes. You haven't seen it live in all the colors of and combinations it has, it looks great.

@nyak5927 yeah they can. The issue isn't in the automatic. I drive a manual camaro. Their meh manual might be better than mine.

Get the m240i. It’s faster than m2 and comes in x drive. No manual tho. M240i has the epic thundernight metallic color. M2 does not.
