thanks! i recently put in a NEW (but bad) CKP sensor and its apparently shorted internally- screwing up my fuel level gauge, ignition coil/ignitor(?) and setting off a host of other selonoids- et al! I cleaned all grounds, rebuilt my fuse box, new ECU, cleaned everything........no changes UNTIL i just now decided to swap back in the old CKP sensor. All the electrical clicking, etc went away immediately and Im not going thru the KEY RELEARN process for the new ECU

Nice detailed video, but I have to comment that the term "Current voltage" does not exist. You really measured the voltage (only) at the sensor.

Hi, I replace a Crankshaft position sensor and I still have a crank no start condition. I don't have a scan tool and I don't want to take care to a shop because they will ask me for a lot of money and I don't have that. What can I check? I don't have spark in any ignition coil, I checked the fuel injectors and when I go to crank it it light up. Should I check my ECU? Thank you.

I think may be whats wrong with my kia, but I dont want to just ask a mechanic to check that part for me like I know for a fact, I wish I could just check it myself, n due to the virus I can't get a auto part store to use the code reader right now so I'm not sure what to do, I had my fuel pump replaced cuz they thought that was the problem but its still doin the same things, it's really frustrating spending all that money n time for it to not be working right still, the rpm need just drops n it stalls out every day at least once or twice and I cant get it to do it for them at the shop so they just tell me theres nothin they can do cuz I guess apparently they dont get no codes up either but the check engine light comes on too but then it goes back off by the time I can get it to my dealership to check it so I'm not sure if it will send them codes

Great vids! Does this ohm measure works on every 3-p crankshaft sensors? I have an Audi A3 1,8T -99. And I have no codes when I read out. Sparks on all 4 sparkplugs. Fuel from every injectors. The fuel pump and startmotor is ok, but the car won't start. So I have just loosened the crankshaft sensor and want to see if it's good or bad by measuring resistance. Shall I hold on the pin to the left and right and get an value?

if 6.25 ohms resistance is good , would a 3.08 reading be a failing sensor? I have not had any codes for a failed cam sensor, but have changed many different parts trying to clear a p2195-97, p0106, p0300. could these codes be caused by a failing cam/crank sensor? 07 f150.

That gear sound is so distracting, would be a much better video without it. One other thing for dyslexics and the sort, when "reinstall" is used here he is not putting the original back in but rather the new one, so technically speaking the instructor should simply say "install" since it was never in, in the first place.
