- Hi everyone! Open me for more info!
I'm still very into the french nail shape recently! So here's another twist on the trend but sculpted using gel this time around! Today I'm trying out the DGEL Mid gel to sculpt gel extensions.

Your designs are so lovely and simple--exactly the kind of style that I want to achieve! I hope more people will find your videos because these are very helpful to me as a beginner.
Happy to share and knowing they're helpful to others keeps me motivated to keep creating these videos! â€ïž
Thank you! This is an amazing tutorial, you put so much effort into your videos and it makes them really clear and easy to follow as a beginner! Also, thanks for showing the products you use!
Thank you so much! I'm glad to hear you found it useful đ
Very modern and forward. Love these nails. Great editing.
Thank you!
This is so cute! Iâm definitely going to try this
love to hear it! Can't wait for your recreation! đ„°
i love your work! yes to the nail form vid idea since my free edge is very round. also, how do you do nail art using your non-dominant hand? like using the long and thin nail brushes, i feel like i can never do it even on both hands lol
Thank you! Ok made a mental note in the books for a future nail form vid! đ
When working on my non-dominant, I actually move/twist/slide the dominant hand and keep the brush itself still at times. That way you're taking advantage of your fine motor skills with your good hand đ I'll try to show a short demo in a future vid as well!
How would you accomplish this nail look with gel x nails?
If you want to do this with gel-x you'd want to apply the extensions on very short nail beds (check out my Magnetic moon nails for ref!) If you're using the Apres system, they have natural color extend gels that will essentially already apply a nudey colour base for you instead of the traditional clear. If not, you'd need to apply the base nude after extending only up to the natural nails free edge (I do something similar with the sandy colour in my clear french tips vid) and then do your white french and accents edges.
Now as a note I chose to not use gel-x this time around because with the gel-X application - unless you have a flawless application, sometimes the edge where your natural nails free edge and gel extension meets has a bit of spillage/unevenness. You would then need to compensate and apply the nude and white french further up to potentially cover it up.
Hope this helps! đ„°
