Everything was better, such as music, televison, movies. We had so much fun going to pit parties, abandonware house partied, bon fire at the beach, when it was legal. Great Canadian talent including the video...and as always, always overlooked. I always loved the video especially the beginning part where he spots her and the 3 raising of the veils.
So much amazing great Canadian bands during the very early 80's.

I remember 3 great things about being a Canadian Kid in the 1980's
    (1) Watching "MUCH MUSIC" Rock Video's
    (2) Watching "YOU CAN'T DO THAT ON TELEVISION" TV Show
    (3) Eating "KRAFT DINNER" with Ketchup & Cut Up Hot-Dogs - (Which I Still Eat)

Mark Petarde There was no internet or CZcams to help market Canadian bands to the larger U.S. and international market. If you were a Canadian band and your name was not Bryan fucking Adams, then U.S. radio stations and music video tv shows would not give you the time of day. Ironically, CZcams was the reason why Canada is now represented by the likes of Justin Bieber.

CC C What are you talking about? The CRTC? The CRTC promotes Canadian artist. It's the American radio & tv industry that was biased against Canadian artists.
