The beam deflection at 02:03 is pretty cool. I hope the combat in this game is somewhat technical and not simply a button mashing fest. The gameplay looks promising.
I dont know if its just me but i hope goku and vegeta can do all the transformations instead of having seperate characters for each transformation. I like the idea of going super saiyan 3 to ssg
I would love the idea of having different types of goku’s like on the past tenkaichis, like kid goku, teen goku, adult goku, Dbz goku, dbs goku, with different techniques and types of combos
But with the proper transformation system for each one, for example kid goku can turn ape, etc, etc.
The animation fluidity is very closers to hand drawn animation wow.
Dev definitely take a notes from dbfz but this so much better than I could hope for since it's 3D gameplay.
The wait will be so worth it idc if we get a playable public demo as long as the full release is taking its time
idk if its just me but i think the screen shakes in a weird way, like, it shakes a lot when they're flying around, which reduces the feeling of "impact" of landing normal attacks

Made gameplay feel much more cinematic and dynamic, it’s a great addition
Its not just you, Now that im looking for it I see it but its not so bad imo. Camera work can be a defining factor in games and i think here they wanted the intense nature of the battle yo get as much representation as possible.

Could be! The gameplay is still a WIP.
There is a clip during the Power vs Speed trailer where Roshi is blocking up/high before Kakunsa hits him. She clashes with that guard and because he guessed right, she is stunned for more time than she would had Roshi used a neutral guard, just like in Tenkaichi 3! Looking it up and slow the clip down.
What Im missing is the typical DB dodging instead of just blocking phisically. I think I remember a DB game where you would dodge every normal attack by holding the block button. It felt and looked so cool. Im sad they got rid of that but thats just personal cherry picking. Overall this looks like it will become the best DB game ever.
The audio could be mixed better, but other than that this looks awesome!

I am really excited for this game, so far seems exactly like budokai tenkaichi 3 with dragon ball z kakarot graphics, and I'm glad I don't have to smash buttons during clashes or spin my left stick like crazy, I also hope they add at least some characters from dragon ball.. or at least have a big cast of characters just like budokai tenkaichi 3.

So these Goku and Vegeta seem to be heavily based on their Broly movie incarnations, which makes me wonder if they will repeat Budokai Tenkaichi 3's system of having an "Early", "Mid" and "End" version of each character, or if perhaps you can swap out moveset and abilities like how you could equip skills in the Budokai games, which thus dictates which Era the characters act more like (So for instance give Super Saiyan Goku his Angry Kamehameha Ultimate thus making him be more of the Namek Saga version, or if you give him the Warp Kamehameha he becomes the Cell Saga version)

The fact u can end up in the shattered dimension is cool imo ending up in that dimension should be exclusive to powerful characters since the base game is really focused on the art style of the super broly movie that's what the story mode should go up to from bog all the way to broly then dlc should be added for the moro arc and granola arc and dragon ball super hero and if the gameplay graphics looks like this I don't even care if cutscenes looks the same this game will be in the votes in goty may not win but it will get a chance but if this game is mostly laying on dbs broly I wonder if bardock will have his og armor selectable or even he is in the game
main game story stops at tournament of power but the broly super hero and daima dlc will allow us to replay some mission

I only wish 2 things about the game, that the sound effects were classic Z and the color palette was also classic.
If possible, it also has soundtracks from Kai, Super and other originals from the game and that they are epic for the combats.

Wonder if you could transform during the beam struggle. Hopefully you can also use all the transformations of the character without changing a preset (e.g. DBS Goku SSJ1-MUI).

They just didn't show all of the mechanics so it's hard to say what's not in there as far as combos.. plus this is an earlier build of the game. You can tell it looks a lot different now

I love how they let us finally go from base form goku to ssgss without having to pick another separate character like the did in that ass game xenoverse. It’s more to the true form when we are able to go from base goku all the way up to hopefully ui goku

that game looks fantastic! I'm just worried about 2 things.
1. It seems like we will only have 2 supers and 1 ult like the old games instead of 4 supers and 2 ults...
2. The combos look like on tenkaichi which means it's just a copy and paste combo on EVERY CHARACTER, just slightly different animation.. not like xenoverse where each character had their own unique combos

Ok yall I know this might sound crazy but for frieza I wish they can use Linda young’s voiceovers. Frieza sounds more intense and scary with her voice. I never really liked frieza’s voice in super. It’s not intimidating like old school dbz version
In all honesty the game looks good but I believe there should be more destruction to the environment. Ex when they clashed it shoulda had devastating results cuz of all the energy of 2 ssjgss clashing the whole environment shoulda changed
