    Rabbi Paltiel was always my favorite chabad lecturer- no watered down gobbledygook.. that was his whole strength ... Delivering the reineh emes as he saw it despite the echo chamber of chabad ... please don't sell out to these gimickey tactics !!

      Rav Kook explains that they are protesting suffering, because religious people become complacent doing so (due to the fact of their religiousness: "we know it is all for the good" - this can lead to complacency in the heart, if not appropriately applied along with the full context of the ethics of Torah).
