easy question to ask, insane amount of work to answer. By now you've hopefully located channels that talk about how to get started making pop up mechanisms. And to make your own you need to create the art for it as well. Good luck. You could start with a pop up card.

WOULD LOVE TO HAVE THIS MASTERPIECE BOOK-but as you must know they cost between $450 to $650. What makes this pop up so expensive? Are they considering making more of these books?
I followed the link and it said around $200. In today's economy where people can't afford food, the collectors editions may go down in price as people may need to part with theirs. Best to buy them when they first come out. Supply and Demand is always what dictates price.

Sorry, but i don't understand why should I read this book rather than watch the movie🤔 it's IDENTICAL! And it's not a compliment...there are just some frames of the movie, in a pop up version...better watch the movie...maybe I expected something different

The pop up effects are amazing! I only wish a different painter was used. The style is too childish. It misses that dark and mysterious tone that the movie has.
I'm not sure, but I think they are aiming to the style of the original Tim Burton's sketches, which were a lot less polished than the final look of the stop motion animation.

Someone put a lot of hard work in it and making pop-up work the right way isn't easy at all, I can't imagine how hard is it with such big scenes as in here. It makes sence it's not cheap :D

Gin Gin They have a top ten list of every year's books in this channel. Any of the Reinhart, or Sabuda previous books is amazing.
