Classical guitars are our passion! We are specialized in the highest quality concert guitars as well as historic guitars from around the world. Our passion for these unique instruments and the joy to give guitarists, passionate players, and collectors the possibility to purchase their own appropriate instrument is the motivation that drives us. Neither Scarlatti nor Bach wrote music for the guitar. So why does this sound so good, as if Scarlatti and Bach wrote directly for Ana Vidovic´s guitar? The answer is that Ana is so extremely good to preserve the special values connected to this music. She allows her guitar to be in the role of a harpsicord, and my God! she succeeds totally in this changeover. I just love her playing.
Practicing for thousands of hours... you make it look easy. Even non-musicians, like me, hear something very special. Thank you.
What a blessing it is to have this incredible person give so much of her life to this art form and give it to us to enjoy. Thank you for the countless hours and days you have given to create this artwork.

No, the most probable is that Bach goes to his heavenly church , he is of course still in duty, and tries to figure out the chords Ana plays. Next sunday you can hear it on organ.

I'm a violinist, and the partita in E major is my favorite (along with Bach's Chaconne) - both played my father, and after years I try to learn it again.When I was 15-18, I preferred playing the guitar when I adored the Beatles.Then I left out playing the guitar for 40-50 years and since the age of 59 I have been rather playing the organ. I recently bought a new guitar and watch the best guitarists in the world. Ana Vidovic is my favorite and gives me a huge boost even at the age of almost 75 years. Thank you Ana for helping me to enjoy this beautiful instrument again.
If I want to have a real aesthetic experience, my choice is Ana Vidovic in every way.Thank you very much.

Adriano Fontana prepared a beautiful arrangement of a song for me, that had never been done classically, before..."I Fall to Pieces, with a Touch of Class"...I call him now, the Emperor of the Fingerboard! His expert abilities could surely, even enhance ,some of yours ? About YOU, I'd say, "Beauty is, as Beauty Does," personified! Beautiful, graceful, and EXCELLANT!

What other explanation suffices? Ana, even from the youngest age, could produce these seemingly and effortlessly beautiful renditions of Bach.

back in the war-time 1990 (she lived in KARLOVAC and was practicing under the cannon fire)
at that time I was the manager of I SOLISTI DI ZAGREB and we had a concert with our young, prospective musicians (then kids) ... ANA was just slighly taller than her guitar 😀and was always somehow in the shadow of her elder brother VIKTOR ... GLAD TO SEE HER NOW 😀
I enjoy this as something that would be impossible for most human beings. She amazes me in a way Segovia did, and I enjoy it as much. If he was a god of guitar, she is to me, a goddess. Any guitarist can listen to this and be inspired.
Her tone is amazing. Clear, full with great sustain. Her staccato notes are bell like. Pure joy to listen to.
I've been listening to Ana on and off for the past few weeks and when I do listen to her while I'm working I usually do much better!
She plays with the soul of someone who's lived for a hundred years. The guitar at its best!

This is just something to die for. all together, the composer Bach, the guitarist Ana Vidovic, even Scarlatti is worth dying for, and there is a resurrection for all of us, believe me. In an new and at the same time similar world.
Is this heaven? I hear Ana Vidovics playing on the guitar, I think it is Bach, I relax on this sofa but listen more and more intense. Believe me, this is worth listening to. From my sofa I can hear that this is something exquisite, something to enjoy and stand up for, something to applaude. And still, from my horizon it sounds equally good. So I just lie there, enjoying the music.
I'm flabbergasted! She not only knocked my socks off, she knocked them so far that they now dangle precariously from atop the highest central peak of a lunar crater. To say "Thank you" in appreciation seems so insignificant..but it's the only way I know how. So, THANK YOU!!!

I just love her Bach and Scarlatti interpretations, I come back to them over and over, seldom have I heard such a confident and strong playing, as if Bachs and Scarlattis notes are just pieces of papers that can be built into huge castles!
I’m 67 years old and just started playing. It’s sad that I probably won’t live long enough to play guitar anywhere close to Ana. But I can still watch her videos and dream.
I could play for two life times and still not play as well as Ana.
I didn’t want to pickup my guitar after seeing her play. And then I told myself that even though I won’t ever play like Ana, I can work hard to be the best I can be.

Just to be crystal clear, in playing guitar, it is the plucking, strumming & pinching hand that is, really, truly, the most difficult one to train properly and fully. Not, as those who don't play, or, have never played, may, erroneously think, the hand that frets die notes !
She looks like her fingers are flying over the strings while making some beautiful melodies...
I'm quite amazed at her right hand technique (left hand also). I am a long-time student of the classical guitar and adopted the Andres Segovia right hand position (yes I'm that old!) with the fingers of the right hand held close together. Ana, blows me away with her own way of sorting effortlessly through the strings, whilst her right hand fingers are quite spread apart. I truly love her power and confidence of execution....something I would kill for!...not to mention her other musical qualities. Lovely!
I totally agree, even if I dont know so much about Andres Segovias right hand position. But I heard him when I was young.
As I said before, Johann Sebastian Bach and Ana Vidovic seems to be a marriage made in heaven, I have no objections.

Hello Ana. I doubt you'd remember me, but just before I moved from NYC to Florida back in 2008 I went to see you in concert for the 1st time at the Blue Monkey downtown NYC. Shortly after, I had contacted you seeking your permission to upload the video footage I'd recorded of you to CZcams, but the Blue Monkey's owner wouldn't have it for it was his intention to offer for sale a high definition edition of that concert and out of respect I never uploaded the video. Sadly, as far as I know, that high definition video was never created. All of this is truthfully besides the point. I just wanted to say that you are amazing!! Even after roughly 12 years your music is that much more intense, your beauty is that much more impressive! The very last piece of this video, Capricho Arabe, is just as impacting as it was back then, perhaps even better. Clearly, you are like fine wine, better with age! What I would give to see you in person again. God Bless and thank you!!!
