You will never understand what Barry and Iris was going through in that friendzone until you have that experienced in real life. The friendzone is when there is something that keep doubting to two people with thoughts of "This shouldn't be" / "He/she didn't have feelings for me like I do". And even if you both have same feelings but still can't escape from that because it will damage your friendship and other things. I really wish to have a happy ending like Barry and Iris in real life but there is one thing that can't be like that in my life. I think I am gonna love that person till the day I die.
Their connection is just out of this world! They are Best Friends, the love of each other's life and the most important person for each other! WestAllen #otp I cried so much when they finally got married! And I am sure that they will find their way back to each other again soon.

In my opinion, Iris convinced herself she loved Eddie...she couldn't handle watching Barry "die" over and over again so she buried her romantic feels for him and got involved with Eddie. Joe knew Iris was in love with Barry just like he knew Barry was in love with Iris...that is why he didn't give Eddie his blessing to marry Iris. As far as other girls...hehe...they didn't have a chance. Linda realized that Barry wasn't in to her, so she cut her losses. Patty was annoying and needed...pouring on the waterworks and Barry being indifferent...backing away and folding his arms...haha. Felicity was in the same boat as Barry...thinking for a New York minute she could move on with Barry all the while pining for Ollie. Caitlin...poor Caitlin...it was never going to happen...heck Barry gave less than a f*ck that she was on the verge of going over to the dark side as long as she saved Iris. The bottom line is Barry was never really into those other girls...he gave it a college try but Iris trumped them all. Heck dude did everything he could on the sly to break up Iris and Eddie. First, he confesses he is in love with her to her...then he stalks her as The Flash, asking if she broke up with her boyfriend...gave her a replica (was it?) of her mothers wedding ring that she lost on a field trip to the zoo when they were in 5th grade...yea. Iris was giddy...Eddie was not happy. Barry marked his territory with that ring move. You have Barry and Iris swapping spit after Iris confessed her feelings because she thought they were going to die. In that moment they were cheating on Eddie and Linda. Oh yea....Barry's jealousy caused him to beat the crap out of Eddie when he got whammed by the rage-aholic. Can't wait for S4!

Patty was conceived as a walking talking male fantasy and quirky nerdy self-insert. No offense to the actress, I'm sure she did the best she could, but the character was a cardboard cutout. I couldn't take her seriously.

I absolutely didn't want her to die. It would have been too extreme and after the horror that was 2A the last thing I needed was for Barry to mourn another person. I just wanted her to leave which she thankfully did sooner than I expected. I agree she drove me nuts as well. She was childish, pushy and had this way of stuttering her lines that got on my nerves.

You will never understand what Barry and Iris was going through in that friendzone until you have that experienced in real life. The friendzone is when there is something that keep doubting to two people with thoughts of "This shouldn't be" / "He/she didn't have feelings for me like I do". And even if you both have same feelings but still can't escape from that because it will damage your friendship and other things. I really wish to have a happy ending like Barry and Iris in real life but there is one thing that can't be like that in my life. I think I am gonna love that person till the day I die.
Their connection is just out of this world! They are Best Friends, the love of each other's life and the most important person for each other! WestAllen #otp

However, I heart the WestAllen’s and they are the only two I really watch the show for.
