This was an excellent tutorial. Slowed it down and followed along with you! I finished my Sister's skirt in 3 days. Took my time cause my hands at 61 give me trouble. If only I could post a picture. My husband loved it, and I know she will, too! Thank you for being a Great instructor. ❤😊

A tip for the fellow crocheters: try on the skirt multiple times while still in the making, and don’t forget to measure the widest point on your body, which is not necessarily your hips, could be your butt too💋

I made this skirt for my daughter-in-law using an ombre yarn and it came out amazing! It was very easy to follow your tutorial. The only thing I did differently was use 1/2 double crochet stitches. ❤

I once made this kind of skirt when I was 12 yrs thou it wasn't as perfect as this one but after watching this tutorial it has reminded me of my childhood friends and how we used to make skirts using yarn, wow am going to make this one as well thank you for the tutorial 😊

I’m a serious beginner and catching on is soooo hard!!!! Very nice skirt
It’ll get easier, hon. It’s taking me a year to start seeing all the different stitches and stuff like that so it’ll get easier you’ll catch on. The one way that I learned how to do the different stitches is I made a swatches like I made little squares swatches and just used a different stitch for each swatch and that actually helps in and it helps you remember the stitch you’re doing too.

I've made 2 skirts using this pattern, one Ladies small and one women's XL, both are absolutely gorgeous. I used Caron Blossom Cake yarn, and they fit perfectly to both body types. Thank you for sharing . 💜

So once you get to hip section and start crocheting the length of the skirt, do you still chain 3 and turn until the desired length?
