Thank you SO much for this easy to understand tutorial. I tried and failed at crochet despite several attempts and watching lots of videos. I just didn't take to it. However I have seen your Tunisian knitting videos popping up so gave this pattern a go with my abandoned crochet equipment. I've managed 5 rows including 2 colour changes, all in one sitting!!! It's really rough and holey, and I've got to work on my technique without a doubt, but for my very first attempt I am SO happy 😊 Your tutorial is AMAZING, thank you so much. Turns out I should have tried Tunisian knitting first 🤭🤭🤭🥰🥰🥰

Wow! I haven't seen Tunisian crochet combined with regular crochet stitches before. I had wondered, before, if people had figured out how to do that. This is really awesome! Thanks for sharing!
I can knit and crochet a little bit, but my Nan and Mum were masters at crochet and knitting. Lol. So watching this brought back some great memories for me, especially when I was a young child, (70s) as it always fascinated me how quick they could do it without even looking at what they were doing. Lol.
I agree with you 100%. The video was beautifully executed and easy to follow. There was nothing to cause anyone to give a thumbs down other than mean spiritedness.
I can't count how many times I've been walking or set the phone somewhere and looked down and saw I gave a thumbs down by accident lol, it's probably not just angry people.

My mum was good at this she would make so many things I did give it a go but never really kept with it .well done to you as you are so talented indeed.Thankyou.💜💛💚
@nancySimpson I think this is a regular/average crochet hook. you can find these "aluminum" crochet hooks at Joanne's Fabrics, Michaels and most craft stores. They usually have a small dent for the logo and your thumb but this does not affect the Tunisian crochet patterns the yarn just slides right over it... 🙂 There are also Tunisian crochet hooks that have a long cord that comes off the the handle and those are more rare to come by.
Thanks for the video! I've always loved doing knitting&crochet but I've never seen something like this and it looks so cute! Will try it out one day when I have any new project ideas ^-^
I followed this video tutorial and I have to say, I LOVE this technique! 😍 It's so simple and satisfying to do! I want to make a bunch of scarves for people now. And possibly more! Thank you so much for this lesson, it made my day!
Your video got recommended to me. I never knitted anything before. It's super easy, yet I'm sure if I'm the one doing it, I would be stressed out. Pretty sure I would puncture into different holes other than the supposed ones 😂😂 By the way, nice video. Definitely made me interested in taking up knitting.
