2:05 addendum: As of patch 0.31 (factions update) the green army soldiers now start as hostile and will absolutely murder you on sight, while also being very annoying with their tier 3-5 armor, high base health and armor penetrative ammo. Prioritize navigating through the barman's quests as quickly as possible(~Fixing radio tower) to unlock the green army quests + daily quests, then try bringing their reputation to 100 asap as it should stop them from shooting you on sight.
Without this, you're bound to fail plenty of missions simply because a group of them decided to camp at the extraction point or certain choke points or objectives in the map, leaving you no choice but to fight for your life. Nothing sucks more than having to go all the way to the 2nd extract during radioactive rain because the first was blocked by them and you have no ammo that'll penetrate them. Some people also die to them being concealed behind trees as their green armor helps them blend in the environment.
