Wiping the face and body after duaa is not prescribed. Weak Hadiths, weak reporters and weak chain.

So would I be correct in saying you must raise your hands when making dua but you shouldn't wipe your hands over your face etc afterwards? How high up must your palms be in relation to your body/face akhi?

yes only raise your hand in duaa. Doesn't matter how high or low...

The only Sahih Hadith that mentions the wiping of the face (and the whole body) is the Hadith of Aisha at the end of the video and it is not in supplication. I would assume some of those weak narrators got mixed with this action and attributed it to supplication.
