      Certainly! A couple of schools in Finland are planning to offer English-language programs. One will likely open applications this spring or summer, requiring basic Finnish skills. It will later expand to offer a total of six programs. Another school is introducing a new English-language trainee, welcoming international applicants, expected to start within the next 1-2 years.

      @JohnofFinland291  Před měsícem +1

      Could you clarify what "depants" refers to? If it includes your spouse or children, you'll need sufficient funds to support them for residence permits. Another scenario is if your spouse plans to study in Finland too. Note that a study permit and a residence permit are different, and a study permit alone doesn't guarantee residence if the necessary funds, approximately 6,720 euros for a year, aren't in your account.

      Hello, thank you for your message. I will indeed continue to provide free vocational training programs that are open to everyone. Currently, such programs are only available in a few schools and select fields.
      Additionally, I will offer higher education courses going forward; however, these will incur charges for non-EU and EEA citizens. On the other hand, higher education courses taught in Finnish and Swedish are free for students of all nationalities.
      It is possible to start with a vocational qualification and subsequently pursue higher education in Finnish or Swedish at no cost. This process generally takes time, but some individuals have a knack for quickly mastering a new language. Therefore, it is not entirely impossible if one is sufficiently passionate.

      The application process for vocational schools is very straightforward, and by following the schools’ instructions, you can complete the application independently. • @JohnofFinland291
      @JohnofFinland291  Před 5 dny

      Getting a job is not easy for an international student. It depends on what you are willing to do and what your previous education and work experience are. Additionally, it is generally easier to find a job in the Helsinki metropolitan area. In other parts of Finland, it is more difficult but possible. In smaller cities, it can be very difficult to find a job.
      You can bring your family to Finland, but your salary and savings in your account must also cover your family. So, you need more savings and income the more family members you have in your household. If I remember correctly, you also need to apply for a residence permit for your family members in Finland.

    • @JohnofFinland291
      @JohnofFinland291  Před 29 dny

      Hi! Actually, there is no such degree in Finland. The closest equivalent is the qualification for a practical nurse. The video contains all the information and all the options. Did you have the opportunity to watch the video carefully?

    • @JohnofFinland291
      @JohnofFinland291  Před 28 dny

      This might be the closest training to what you were looking for.
      To become a care assistant, one typically undergoes vocational training at a secondary education institution by completing a program based on modules from the Vocational Qualification in Social and Health Care (practical nurse).
      The program entails 60 competence points and usually spans about one year.
      However, it should be noted that this is a training program, not a formal qualification.
      The training is available in Finnish and Swedish.

      In nearly all universities in Finland, you can study for a bachelor's and master's degree in English. Scholarships or grants are available, and each university has slightly different offerings. I will make a video about them at some point. Thank you for your request. Currently, I have only one video about a university of applied sciences and the master's degrees available there. @@seraphinaeboka6409 University education is not free for citizens of non-EU countries. You will have to pay for it, and you might be able to get some of this money back later. I cannot make a video about 100% free university education, as the rules change every year. Tuition fees in Finland are comparatively affordable internationally, generally ranging from 5,000 to 15,000 euros per semester. In some years, exceptionally talented students have been able to study at various universities on a 100% scholarship.
