- On an all-new episode of Like We Never Left, SNY reunites the crew that made the movie 61* about Mickey Mantle and Roger Maris. Director Billy Crystal, executive producer Ross Greenburg, and actors Thomas Jane and Barry Pepper get back together to tell the tale of a special movie about a special season in New York Yankees history.
The crew shares behind-the-scenes stories from making the movie about Mantle and Maris' chase to break Babe Ruth's single-season home run record in 1961, and are later joined by Roger's son Kevin Maris, to talk about how the Maris family reacted to the film.

THE Best Baseball movie ever made! Whether you're a Yankee fan or not, it is a Must watch!
SUPER AMAZING
61 in 61 against all odds. , on Roger Maris tombstone, such an exciting home run race!❤
61 is a GREAT movie for those who haven't seen it yet.
One of the best movies I've ever seen! How awesome to see this reunion!
Roger Maris "STILL" owns the regular season homerun record!
A year later, it's Judge now!! What a difference a year makes .
Agreed! Get McGuire and Sosa's name off the books. Judge is the true record holder. @@bdog1323

Agreed. I was 13 years old in "61 and a big tme Yankee fan. To this day, I feel the '61 Yankees were the best hitting team of all time. 5 players with 20 or more homeruns and Whitey Ford! What else do you need!
Absolutely love this!
