Actually, if you see closely, they all are in their own regions, not together, not yet, that's a representation of the regional leagues. The portal is when the winners of every region went to meet at the same place, the World Championship. Chovy is fighting ShowMaker, while JackeyLove is fighting Lwx, 0:53 is only a transition between scenes. JackeyLove, Showmaker and Rekkles only fought each other in that last scenes, only in the last picture the rest gathered together to see JackeyLove and ShowMaker fighting, well, Rekkles, too, but, he's at the distance pointing to them with his weapon.
TES and G2 were top teams in their respective regions, don't remember G2, but, TES were 4th in Spring, but, they both failed in Summer, then they didn't qualify to the World Championship, music video was, of course, made with months of anticipation.
But g2 missed 2021 worlds and in this video rekless was still with fnatic during 2020 worlds.

Crazy how people will take the tiniest details to fuel their belief that League is scripted but will never acknowledge the fact that NO ONE, literally NO ONE who's actually competing would ever agree to lose on purpose to serve a script. Even if some may do it for money, it's literally IMPOSSIBLE that every single player would agree and not leak anything.
TL;DR - yeah i agree pro scene is def scripted
This doesn’t justify the belief that league is scripted for anyone with 2 brain cells. This video has been in the works for months. They have to make some predictions about who makes it to Worlds otherwise they couldn’t start production until after qualifying is done and they’d have maybe 2 months to do everything.

Edit2: People asking if it's Rekkles and not Zven, because G2 are not in World's this year, neither is TES. It's Rekkles for sure, you can check the character's arms, he has the same tattoos as Rekkles (this is how much of a no-lifer I am).

I liked GODS a lot as well. GODS does what this song did in a bit of a different way but just as smooth. The vocal harmony with the music in both songs is a real treat to listen to. Honestly if you asked me to pick which I like more I couldn't tell you. Right now I'm going back and forth listening to different parts of both and they are similar in many ways (for me at least). My biggest takeaways is Burn It All Down tries to focus a bit more on the background track than the vocals which I don't mind at all because the track is pretty punchy and crispy. GODS focuses more on the vocals than the background track and my feelings are the same for this too. Very talented vocals can easily hard carry a song on their own and they do it so well for GODS.
As for the videos, the animation and art style of Burn It All Down I prefer more but that's not to say GODS is bad by any means. I like the imagery of GODS more (references to different points in time where Deft was on different teams and watching Faker play).

00:58 is so sick. Jhin is using his grenade to force the Ezreal to warp away. The Ezreal then reacts by charging his ult, but the Jhin already has a trap where he predicted the Ezreal would warp to. A really cool series of actions for a scene that lasts only a couple of seconds.

i love being a developer & an artist with high standards being able to see stuff like this, very motivating, this is infinitely more impactful to people who are artists & have a general understanding of what they're seeing & the work behind all of this, riot's artists 2d & 3d are the people i aspire to become, the creativity, style, quality, colors, music, direction & design & just everything these mfs do is amazing to me, can't wait to see what they release in 2023

The 2D animation wasn't made by Riot, it was made by Haoliners.
Of course, there are people from Riot who work on this, particularly the music and lyrics and adding to what it was said previously, in the case of the 3D, if I remember well, they said it was made by 4 other studios, they didn't provide the names from those ones, it's only known the studio that made the 2D.

Neither showmaker or chovy’s mains are syndra or orianna. Infact, neither of them are specifically known for these champs. Showmaker made his name playing assassins and chovy was known for his absurd lane dominance on a vast variety of meta and offmeta picks (specifically super adept at tanks that no one else played i.e sett, ornn, sion mid to name a few specialties).
They probably picked syndra vs orianna because its been the staple mid matchup the past few seasons, not because its their mains.

Couldn't agree less. This one is a "here and now" type of story about Showmaker, Rekkles and other preparing for Worlds. 2023 is a whole biopic about Deft, starting from the time where he went to the same school as Faker (because he did) and throughout his whole career as a pro player, with the same clashes, same players playing same heroes on both sides of the fight as in real life Worlds matches over the years. This is a Cinderella story cramming 10 years of a person's path to the championship through constant failure into a single song. Sure, this one would've make a cool shonen anime, but this year's one is the type that make is to the oscars and whatnot, even though it might not be as flashy.
This is the first Worlds song where I was more into the animation than the song itself. The song wasn’t bad but the animation was just top tier

Putting down Europe, the United States AND Canada like that ... it's just to put a slap in the face of all animation students and professionals in the industry as much in the field of film, film animation and video games. It is a big lack of recognition and respect for the work that I have done.

The 3d animation looks flat-out AMAZING. I love the 2d and how they integrated champ movesets into fights in that style too, this has to be one of the better worlds music videos animation-wise. Can't get tired of watching it

I am extremely curious about this 'world' that they've made here because it seems genuinely cool. It would basically be a martial arts or general action + gaming anime/show. You could explore this by focusing on different teams (doesn't have to be based on real players or people) and see how different each of their styles is for the same characters or you could also just have them all play different characters. It doesn't even have to be 100% faithful to the actual game either so you could have some creative liberty.
