Song itself sounds good, but it feels like it lacks something powerful, like the previous ones.
With more hype/bang I think it would be more fitting for Worlds, considering it's the only really significant tournament each year.

I'm listening to this song while the Worlds 2023 semis is ongoing. It's such a nostalgia listening to this. I'm one of the people who dislike it at first because of how unfitting the song is to the Worlds' hype. But in later days, it starts to age well like a fine wine, because the reality is, this song is good in a unique way. It's actually gave you a memories of the past Worlds to remember the hype of the past. It's nice to listen to this great song again.

I thought that this would be important information to share. 35% of all ocean microplastics come from clothing/textiles, mostly polyester, but also acrylic and nylon as well. Not eveythjng needs a Skrillex drop. The equivalentint "drop" is this case is in the lyrics themselves. They hit harder and tell a story unlike any anthem before.

@@Neltharn I agree it should be faster, but 1.25 feels too fast to me, and misses the weight of the bass. I tried increasing the speed by 8% (using an add-on to bring it to 108% speed) and I think that's a good middle ground that keeps the weight of the bass hits, but ramps up the urgency that we usually want from a Worlds anthem.
Changing things up makes it fun, not everything has to be rage and feelings when we talk about league

Till the 3rd time fully focused on listening to this song, I realized the strong suit of this song is the story it delivers. Many believe that it does not have what it takes to be a World Final theme. Personally, I can tell this song is as amazing as the previous world themes since it generates a strong emotional impact when we combine the song with the back story of each pro player attending the final. A calm start followed by a gradual rush, partial blanks (which appear in all walks of life), a more aggressive rush, and a calm ending. I believe we can relate that tempo to the journey of the final attendances, where they start the game, train, attend the play-in stage, achieve their victory, and enjoy it with peace.
Hence, this really enhances my experience with this song. Shout out to the artists of Riot for all of their wonderful works.

I agree that this song doesn't have the hype energy that you would expect from a Worlds song, but it really grows on you. I've caught myself humming the melody multiple times now.

Honestly this is amazing its a calm hype. The power comes more from the words themselves. "Dont ever say its over if im breathing." This line alone i can visualize myself in a cluch situation in valorant its 1 v 5 and im ready to take on the whole team. The calming melody kinda just makes it easier to see myself picking them off 1 by one till i get the last one and i tell my teammates "dont ever say its over if im breathing.". (I'm aware this sounds cringe but my point still stands)

Song is good and the animation fits really well with the song! However, I feel as if this isn’t a World’s song. Every Worlds song was hype and energetic. Just like all the other comments are mentioning, an orchestral version of the song would definitely have a greater impact.

느낌이랄까, 가사를 알기전에도 좋았지만 가사를 알고 난 뒤에는 눈물을 흘리게 되었다.

As much as I agree it doesn’t have a lot of “hype” like other worlds songs. I still love it. Personally it feels like a message to younger LoL players who want to be legends later on in the platform. Which is what I think the song is trying to reminisce, “look every legend made it, and you can too if you try hard enough”. That’s what I think when it mentions “Why worship them when you know you can join them” it’s a simple thing. But it’s nice.
Like I said it’s not everyone’s taste but it’s still haves a nostalgic feeling towards the current LoL Legends- how their own unique paths shaped their play styles they critiqued over the years. Something we all should learn from.

Yes! Even in like the tiktok teaser the instrumental is turend wayy up and you can really hear that chunky bass in the background, also they use a few more noise and voice effects which make it more hype, and have like a crowd cheering in the beginning, which I think would super work for a Worlds song considering its a live sport event, like I think that there is great potential here but it just hasnt really been touched!

It hits a different vibe imo, almost like it's from the perspective of the team that loses in the finals... They lost this time, but they will be back.
It has that silent but not a pushover vibe. Since this was made in the pandemic it clearly shows that even in hard times, there's still the ember's of ambition and Passion hidden inside of everyone. It doesn't need to be a flame(like the previous WOLRD songs) that ignites others, it can also be something that starts out small and gets bigger as it progressively advances.

As someone who recently heard this live at a nas x concert (chicago on Sept 10th) they did nas dirty on this, the concert version was energetic and bouncy, this is a lot less, almost like they turned everything down but his vocals, it's odd because hearing it live, I was hella hyped and ready for the energy, but it feels sucked out of this version.

But genuinely I think there's a great song there underneath it all
