I went to the website linked in the description and burned the Spiderman Rom to a CD-R disk, I popped it into my v-flash (disk button pressed down as told in this tutorial) but it isn't functioning... Was I supposed to have the files in a folder on the disc, or am I missing a program?

  • @PolySwitchOfficial

Could you make a video on the burning process of a flash itself? I guess I just have no idea what I'm doing wrong

Try burning using ImgBurn and burn at lowest speed possible (4x, 8x, 10x will work best but will take longer. Just use lowest burn speed supported by your CD/DVD drive)
Game files should be BIN/CUE. Open ImgBurn, select write image file to disc, under source find the CUE file and burn to CD-R. CD-RW WILL NOT WORK.

@@e-homie2836 So have the .bin and .cue files burnt not in any folders but by themselves on disk (Is it possible to directly burn without additonal programs?) When it didn't work the first time I converted the rar to iso lmao

@@PolySwitchOfficial extract rar with WinRAR or other archive program and you will get the bin/cue files.
Not sure how to burn bin/cue to disc without another program, don't think windows supports it. Just placing the bin cue files themselves on the disc won't work because the system can't read them. When burnt to disc with ImgBurn or other program, it extracts the bin/cue files and burns the correct way to make system be able to read them. Not 100 percent sure on the specifics but that's the best way I can describe it

@@e-homie2836 tysm i was asking bc the only computer with a disk drive is my mom's old mac i'll make the download on it sometime this week, afterwards I might be able to record music from some more games (archival purposes) Still making some discoveries with the vff files, such as uncredited jp companies, I'm definitely gonna get to the bottom of the v flash credit mystery eventually also tytyty

@@ViridianForestPikachuGood luck. The entire caddy is all plastic. No screws or anything, so you’re gonna have a hard time prying it open. Those Audio CD trays (and Memory Cards) are very hard to come by though, so it might be your only option.
