- Ministers are prepared to look at sending asylum seekers to be processed offshore, Sir Keir Starmer said on Thursday, as he promised to “reset” Britain’s approach on illegal migration.
The prime minister said abandoning the “gimmick” of the Rwanda scheme opened the door to a closer relationship with other European countries to tackle the small boats crisis.
He was speaking as he hosted more than 40 leaders from across Europe at the European Political Community (EPC) summit at Blenheim Palace in Oxfordshire.

The best thing about this initiative is that the money can help to create jobs and opportunities in Africa, which could then result in incentives such as produce and goods coming back to the UK through favourable and more attractive trade deals. They should maximise the win-win opportunities as they present themselves.

All of what you said violates the Geneva Convention which the UK is signed up to and it also violates the rules on asylum in ECHR.
The country has to process asylum seekers and then decide whether they are eligible to stay or not.
