    New sub! I love this technique. I struggle a lot with using a hair dryer with round brush because of nerve damage in my dominant hand/arm 🩷

    Clean hair is #1, over direct the base of the hair while drying and get the velcro rollers in while hair is still warm. A spritz of hair spray at the root area will help the lift and hair will be full looking.

      Question: Is there any product out there that protects the scalp of us fine thin hair girlies from getting a sunburn?

    Why not just use hot rollers like we did in the 90s

      @@diyhairschool4445 I was thinking the same thing as this person was. I looked, but I didn’t see any hot rollers on your site. I’ll have to check again. It’s so much easier than curling every single clump of hair.

    I have been afraid of velcro rollers because I also have thin hair, and it's very fine. I'll try them now! I like to use brush rollers without the brushes. I can set my hair while it's damp, and not have to use heat. Heat just destroys my hair. I don't even use heat when I blow dry and the texture that gives is wonderful.

    I have been here past my collarbone little bit more hair than you do little bit shorter on the ends like on the sides and then a cut at the bottom straight. I have a lot of static and a lot of frizz and I’m also turning gray and I can never get that full bouncy look I have tried product after product after product and nothing works the Velcro roller make my hair more static for the static I’ve used the product called skim and it just makes my hair more static. I’m sorry skimming the one that you used. I will try that but what hairspray do you recommend to give you some volume and hold that’s not crusty and what shampoo do you recommend? Thank you very much and I enjoy your channel. I am a, and I really do enjoy it❤️💐

      Or in any state that has summer, lol. Waste of time. Was easier for my platinum-haired mom back in the 60s to do wet sets and a lot of tease-and-spray action. Those styles actually held up back then, for the most part.

    My hair is the same color as yours. I bought a new curling iron and I think it scorched my hair because it’s like yellowish brown on some spots. No idea what to do now. Just let it grow out or what???

    • @diyhairschool4445
      @diyhairschool4445  Před měsícem

      Sounds like it burned your hair for sure. Always use heat protection on every layer of hair and never use the tool on high with blonde. You may be able to use a clarifying shampoo and then a purple shampoo to help a bit but it likely won't completely go away

    • @kelli8923
      @kelli8923 Před měsícem

      @@diyhairschool4445 yeah I did use heat protectant, Kenra. I used purple shampoo today, it looks a little less noticeable. Will do the clarifying shampoo next. This hadn’t thought of that. Pretty bummed though. Thanks for responding!

    Just dampen hair slightly and let air dry for a truly polished long lasting look. This is a terrible job rolling hair , rolling hair back would create more volume and secure roller closer to scalp with clip to keep roller in place while it dries. Her hair started falling immediately When she pulled the rollers out, curl would not fall out if she had dampened the hair and let it dry completely.
