I must say I find your videos of actual playthroughs super good! Fast and quick turns no messing around with talking too mych about 100 different options. This is by far the best playthroughs I have seen!

This is late but I've just got this one to the table. Wondering, in solo play, should we swap in a Villain with 4-honor as the Boss?

Thanks for the Solo walkthru Dale, and thanks for not racing through things. it helps to understand what is going on. point of clarification for me please....at about the 36 minute mark the Mechana moved and killed off the Twilight Scout. but curious, and I dont have the cards in front of me, but it looks like the Mechana has attack of 7. Scout only has defense of 4, but you had a +4 defense treasure...was there a reason not to use that and block the attack? or even same for Runic Lycanthrope? Thanks for bearing with me🙂

Hi Dale. Do the sleeved cards of Ascension tactics all fit in the Ascension tactics box?
I did make some "adjustments". Basically, I cut the insert so I only have the parts that hold the smaller miniatures, and use a small box and some deck boxes for the cards, have the tokens in plastic bags, and the bigger miniatures just sitting around (covered by the token bags). Hope that makes sense.
I’m not sure if the retail version has a different insert, but the sleeved cards all fit with room to spare in the KS edition.
The kickstarted edition has enough room for sleeved cards. Maybe if you're using the thickest kind it could be a tight fit but my tinmen premium sleeves fit well.

I use Dragon Shield clear matte sleeves. :)

you mentioned banish constructs when destroyed then you discarded the construct - does banish not 'banish' the selected card to the void anymore?
Just so you know, the AI gets infinite Cultists (well, up to supply). You're limited to 4.
@XBlackFlagX Correct! Thanks for the clarification! Fortunately, I wasn't going to contest his hold on the center area. :)
Slower than regular old, but that’s to be expected. The playmat is a disappointment. If the center row is supposed to be at the top, you’ve got arms reaching over the battlefield; on the side you have to read like an owl; bottom, same problem as top but with reaching over card towers.
Despite that it looks like a hoot (ha) to play. The AI doesn’t mess around. It’s a survival game.
Big fan of cultists with different livery. +10 for having everyone on the board painted. -1 for no close-ups.
So a "9" ... I'll take it. :)
I could have positioned the board the other way ... but then my table wouldn't have been big enough.
No problem having the center row to the side in my experience. Also if you're playing solo you just put them in columns facing you.
