Fun story (for me anyway), in the 80’s we had done our best to book at trip to WDW. We booked a hotel that was a Polynesian inn (not Disney’s) or something like that. We arrived in Florida late at night. We took a taxi to the hotel but the driver took us to Disney’s Polynesian. They told us it was the wrong hotel. We thanked them and asked for a cab. They said, you can stay here. They told us the rates and we said “oh, that’s so much higher”. They told us it’s ok, will let you stay here for the price you booked at the other hotel. Now that is Disney Magic!
Chris when they put the lei on you I thought you were going to tell us you were going to give us the “lei” of the land. 🥁 I know..I know… I don’t think it’s time for that kind of humor. 1:00

When it comes to food, there’s no greater compliment than to say it reminds you of your mom or grandma’s cooking.
I shouted "yes" out loud when you said Amanda and Miles would be joining you. They deserve to experience some of this, and you deserve to have your family with you. Will hopefully give you the boost you need to get through all 20. Half way Chris!

I’ve been watching and loving your videos whilst going to all the Disney hotels. In this particular video, I found it very cute that your smile was the bottom of your pretzel. Also, I like the parts when you’re just going through all the rides and saying the wait times. When you stopped and showed the glowing castle and you said beautiful castle, I said timeless because obviously that’s a pun on just sitting there absorbing the ambience is beautiful and timeless but also it’s not gonna take any time or waiting to admire the fun and beauty and glowing-ness of the castle. Great videos, thanks. BTDubs, you really touch my heart, make me cry and make my day when you have those “I’m talking to you moments”…So thank you for doing that. Positivity/positive affirmations is what we all need a little bit more of. I know that getting a little boost of positive energy every day helps me out especially when I’m having a bad day at work or am not feeling good.

Hey Chris this is Matthias I have been really enjoying you showing 20 days at 20 the Disney World hotels. Just finished you watching this video on day 10 at the Polynesian Village resort. That place looks beautiful. I love things Polynesian because I am part Polynesian. Does look a bit different from 'Alani. Would like to have some Dole whip from their it is one my favorite treats when I get to Disneyland in California. Mickey looks nice with his 'aloha outfit and you too as well. That's cool to know that the monorail is not an attraction but a transport a bit similar to Tokyo. Doing great job Chris.

This is my favorite video so far! When you started telling the bird story I was sure you were going to say a bird pooped 💩on you. It’s happened to me 3 times while on vacation..I’m so leery of birds flying around me now. This video made me smile so much😅

The crow probably thought you were someone else. Crows have good memories and if someone that had a similar Hawaiian shirt harassed the crow at some point, it will remember that for years. They will sometimes have their buddies join them too. A crow will also remember if someone treats it very kindly. If you feed a crow regularly it may start leaving presents for you. They like to collect unique shiny things. It’s pretty amazing… “bird brain” is actually a compliment cause they are such intelligent creatures. About the same level as a 6 year old child.
My favorite ... Polynesian hotel. Built before Walt Disney Passed. Planned just as if you were staying in Kauai. Aloha

Each day I watch for your new video. We have gone to WDW twice in our RV as part of a one year (each) cross country trip. We spent Christmas 2022 at Fort Wilderness. It was fabulous. Now we have sold our RV and figured we would not be able to go to WDW again. Your series has opened up a whole new opportunity and option to go and stay. Thank you. OMG... First, let me say... what a joy it was watching video #10! Seeing a happy, refreshed, joking and laughing Chris made me SO happy!!! I almost peed my pants laughing when you you talked about the raven with its talons attacking you. 🤣 Seriously though, hope you are ok! The Poly is now #1 on my daughter's list! Chris, now you know why ZZ Top can never shave. Stay positive, great content. It is good to know about the boats for when the monorail is down. At the Contemporary You need to be in the California Grill during the fireworks or on the 3rd floor outside stairway. The viewing deck by the gift shop can get crowded.
I might have missed it in the video, but the Poly pipes the fireworks music into the beach area and even *underwater* in the pool!
We absolutely love the Polynesian. It's our favorite of all the resorts at WDW.

Wish you planned a day to rest in all this...I loved staying at the Poly so much! The room, the food, the Monorail, and watching the fireworks and the Electric water parade from my balcony enjoying a dole whip. Just doesn't get any better than that!!!

Love this series. Still watching but when staying at the Poly, you can take the ferry or monorail to the TTC and walk. There is a nice trail thats is even lit by the tiki torches. Its super convenient when staying near that end of the property. No need to switch to the resort monorail.
Me and my husband laughed when you were talking about the humidity and how hot it is. You ain’t felt anything yet, wait until June, July, August, September and even October. It is hard living in Fla, it’s an adjustment. Loving these Videos, keep up the good work, Veronica and Todd
