I agree Berdly is relatable but the chapter didn’t make him enjoyable or give him an arc. Feeling awkward (to retroactively cover being a manipulative a-hole) is not character development anymore than a female character tripping all the time is a character trait. It’s the same problem with Susie and Kris. Perhaps when the story is finished I will feel more satisfied, but at this point I am unconvinced.

This one isn't really cool but here's goes anyway... SPOILERS AHEAD!!! In snowgrave when you fight him he sees that you are breaking noelle and using her so he takes you way more seriously then normally... He fights you because you are tearing noelle's sanity apart instead of fighting you for no reason. He also has cool spear.
