- Prince Harry and Meghan Markle must be “worried” they are being “eased out” of the picture completely after the Duke and Duchess were demoted on the Palace’s official website, according to a royal biographer.
Why is it so hard to understand? When you quit the family business you are no longer entitled to ANY of the perks of the family business even though you are still a member of the family. The Monarchy is the family business. The Royal Family is the family.

Why are they worried? They’ve spent over two years attacking, criticising and dismissing the Queen and the monarchy, and disrespecting the UK and Commonwealth countries. They’ve demonstrated they don’t have the job skills required for the diplomatic and apolitical role and should just move on with the lives they said they wanted and which the family supported them to have. If the Princess of Wales can walk around with minimal security, and the MET police recently assess and decide that they didn’t need security, I’m sure they can manage without HRH titles for themselves and their children, and can pay for their own security and the perks they so desire.
Maybe if they shut their mouths for two seconds instead of constantly causing a divide they may not need security.

Well, they said they felt “trapped” in the institution of monarchy, and that they “saved” one another from the Royal life by leaving. (Source: O interview). So, they chose to step down from Royal duties. (Oh, sorry, Harry, correction, you said you stepped AWAY from Royal duties).

And many wealthy families give money to their adult children that the children didn't earn. My father wasn't even wealthy but he paid me and my sister out of his business most of my adult life even though neither of us ever worked for him. "Family" businesses are different especially when the dad owns and runs it.
Didn’t they come out of the institution that they felt so trapped in. Harry claimed he felt sorry for his brother and father trapped in that institution and was glad he was out.

They are not getting edged out; they walked out. You don’t get to quit a job, and then keep the parts of the job that you liked. While they will always be part of the Royal Family, they have nothing to do with the business of the Royal Family. Had they behaved themselves better, been less given to spouting untruths and lies, they might have been able to garner an occasional ‘official’ invite. Being the narcissist she’s proven herself to be, and knowing how deeply Harry was loved, no doubt Meghan expected the Royals to pander to her allegations and make apologies for the sake of maintaining Harry’s position and their relationship with him. Such an act would have legitimized her abhorrent behavior and placed her in a position to manipulate even further in the future, ie blackmail for personal gain. The Queen and Royals didn’t bow so she took it further and attempted a public humiliation to to try to force their hands. In this fairytale, it was Harry who bit into the poison apple. Not all fairytales end in happily ever after. I don’t think even the seven dwarves can help them now.
