Beautiful reverb . As a young player it was all about drives and distortion, now i prefer Reverb and delay with smaller amounts of gain in the mix .

I am using the reverb in place of my chorus. I like running small pedalboards (5-6 pedals), and I like the simplicity as well.

Here’s what I do: Record your signal, then duplicate it. Pan one hard left, then pan the other hard right and put a light chorus on it.
This pedal oozes class

Has anyone noticed a volume jump on your amp with this pedal? When i engage this pedal my volume jumps a couple decibels which makes it an always on pedal and I like to switch between reverbs so I'm not sure this one is practical. Anyone else have this issue? Is it normal?
Can't decide between this and Hall :/ Both sounds great! Hall sounds more musical IMO but like most reverbs I'm used to, the trails can get in the way sometimes. Its a bit prominent and bright. The "Reverb" has much more laid-back trails, even with the EQ and Decay knobs at high settings. Not as divine sounding, maybe more like dark & cavernous... Hard to decide on one :)

Question about the JHS Reverbs: I've been looking at the 3 Series Reverb and Hall, the Boss RV6 and can't decide. I'm not able to try them out in person. I play primarily jam band improv and kind of progressive/classic rock style. Which would you think would be more appropriate? Thanks for the great videos. I've also been getting more intrigued with the longer times and ambientness of the videos I been watching.
Most people online seem to prefer the RV6 to the Series 3 Reverb... but I wonder if they're just saying that because it has more features? Having tried them both in person, I thought the Series 3 Reverb sounded much better. Granted, it doesn't have stereo or as many options. I haven't tried the Series 3 Hall, though, so I can't comment on that one.
Though, in my case, I tried the Strymon Blue Sky V2 the same day and it was by far my favorite. But also really pricey, haha. So I'm giving myself some time to decide what to do.
@@Tzadeck Thank you. I was thinking the JHS sounded better than the RV6 but hard to tell sometimes through CZcams videos. I think I am leaning in that direction. Even though there are less separate sounds in the JHS, the one sound seems more versatile. However, I just heard about the Keeley Omni Verb, now looking into that too. I'm definitely not looking into something like Strymon - would be cool though.
What is the driffrent between hall and normal reverb of this brand. ? Thanks

love the sound, but the only thing i don’t like is when i turn it off there’s no trails, it just cuts out. cant use it live anymore 😮
The UAD Heavenly might be more for you then. Sounds a little better than this, has a switch to give you those trails. They've dropped a bit on sale, so the difference in price isn't huge now, maybe $50 or so.
When I saw the price for this pedal I jumped and baught it but I ended up not liking it ! I get what you pay for !! What a disappointment !! Spend your money else where !!!☹️
