The Giants Tour continues once again without Noel, for the final few European gigs before ending off the year with three back-to-back festival gigs in the U.K. Playing the Benicàssim festival the band play an okay, if pretty lacklustre gig. This mainly falls down to Liam who seems pretty bored throughout the night, barely speaking at all to the audience and progressively seems to get more pissed off as he sounds a bit angry during Rock N’ Roll Star. Similarly to Berlin too, there’s some moments where he just doesn’t try. The ending of Live Forever being the only big one. The rest of the band play decently though, with Gem especially doing his best efforts on both Gas Panic and Champagne Supernova and it does sound excellent to be fair. The show is captured from an FM broadcast, which does contain a bit of DJ chatter between songs (which sometimes overlaps onto a couple intros of the songs) but you’re not missing much. Oasis would return with Noel, to the Benicàssim Festival in 2005.
