This is the best game in the PS2, and I'll dare say is the most amazing gaming experience in any console, ever. I cannot stress this enough. I sold my PS2 to buy an Xbox 360, but I plan on getting a PS2 again so I can play SotC one more time. This game is worth it.
Out of all the colossus quadrates is probably the saddest colossus to kill for me that face just looks peaceful I really don’t like killing him Gauis and avion are my favs but quadrates is the most peaceful looking and I hate killing him it makes me feel bad great game tho I grew up with the demo on ps2 and later bought the ps3 remaster and beat it on there for first time and the ps4 remake I beat as well I have a ps2 fat still I wanna get the original shadow of the colossus I like the case with valus in the cover plus it’s nice to experience the ps2 version I still have the demo jampack that has shadow of the colossus in it I remember seeing the trailer when you beat valus thinking gauis is probably the final boss and I was wrong lmao he was the third

its just a shame... People don't make masterfully crafted games like that anymore. Shadow of Colossus is one of the best games that i have ever played. It is a beautiful display of action and art, suspense and creativity. But all formalities aside, its a pretty fucking awesome game. 10/10
Ah well actually I agree because I just finally started playing it again a while ago (few hours ago) and yeah you're right. But I dont mind, the music is beautiful (in my opinion). A complete remake of this game would be pretty crazy.

People think the game sucks because all you have to do is stab a collosi in the head... This is one hell of a game! the whole adventure thing is awesome, the beautiful world, the relaxing wind and birds, and the awesome music in the boss fights! After the 2nd collosi you need to think in order to get to their head! It took me a while to get in te 3rd collosi head.. Nice game, gorgeus music, Masterpiece.
I love this game such dam much! Also, I swear that most of the Team Andromeda from Sega (Panzer Dragoon Series) must have gone to work for this studio after Sega shut them down. The art styles, music, symbols, some creature designs, and even the fake language (Panzer Dragoon Saga) are so similar it's uncanny. One of the best games ever made, and the only game in my mind that any Nintendo diehard fan should be very jealous of. Literally perfect....
@kioka2 I don't think that you understand that the beauty of this game was how beautiful it looked before HD games. This game needs no updating it is perfect as can be. This does not need "fancy" graphics or new updated surround sound. This game shows how amazing something can be, while being so simplistic. Updating this game to the PS3 is like remaking Mona Lisa. You just can't ever do it. EVER.

But then i saw, hard mode.
Can you imagine SHADOW OF THE COLOSSUS 2 in PS3 , then you play ONLINE and strarting to make a team of 10 people as maximum against a BIG COLOSSUS.
