Guests who have strong improv experience are usually the best guests, especially on Stephen's show. Actors like Melissa McCarthy, Emily Blunt, Ryan Reynolds, Kate McKinnon, Christina Applegate, Keenan Michael Keys, Julia Louis-Dreyfus, Chris O'Dowd, Paul Rudd, and Thomas Middleditch can "play" along with the host, yet seamlessly come back around to the reason they're appearing on the show.

These two guys pretending to be bad-ass cool-as-fuck jet pilots and then proceeding to botch the high-five really made my day. Middleditch is such a funny dude.
That clip changed my life. It tought me to lower my defenses and give the (supposed) monster a chance.

I don't follow his career but I always make sure to watch his late night appearances. He's definitely one of the funniest actors out there!!
