In order to make my moves less stressful, I ALWAYS do these 2 things: 1. let go of what is no longer serving me, and 2. enlist the help from people who have done this process before me. This is only the 2nd video of yours I watched and I'm already a fan after I heard you say you don't have a Bachelors. I've wanted to live abroad for about 6 years now and not having my Bachelors has always discouraged me. Watching your first day in Tokyo video, I assumed you moved there for your Masters or some other graduate work. Love love love your videos and how cinematic and peaceful they are!

I feel you on the drawer issue! I bought a shredder a few months ago and that has helped me reduce frivolous papers from piling up
On another note, I use to have a TON of clothes. But with my most recent move to LA I only have 6-7 pairs of pants, like 8 shirts, enough under garments to last me a just over a week, 1 swim suit and a handful of accessories. I do my laundry once a week and it's like 1 large load. It's very different and new, but it's been really convenient. I did it mostly becuz of my living situation, but once I get my own place I'll probably keep doing it.
