Always take the right hand tunnel. Less congestion
Good boy, accurate. The M25 does not encircle London. The A282 is the Tunnel/QE2 Bridge section.
I used to do this route over to Lakeside back in the day when I lived in Sidcup. It’s still a bloody nightmare!!
I’m drove from Kent to Essex for almost a year back in 1998 working for HMRC in Southend. It was a nightmare even then. Catching it at the right time is key 👍
Being Canadian, I truly enjoyed watching this video, the round-a-bout is so well designed, feeling giddy as I watch driving on left side of roads, the one-way's were more easily understandable to me were I able to travel and need to drive in the UK, but oh boy the brain does a flip flop at some intersections. This was a fun video ! Thank you for making this :)
I get that same feeling driving in Europe. It’s weird driving on the opposite side of the road 🤣

We usually go in the right hand tunnel
It always seems quicker to me. I was heading to Thurrock so it seemed easier to stay in the left tunnel 👍
My local resident's account was renewed TWICE and they happily took the money TWICE and I had another £10 in my account which I put in there because i tried to re validate my card. They took another £4 out of my account, claiming that my account was not approved. 127 people ahead of me in the queue on the phone. The woman who tried to sort it out last time on the phone was from Leeds. So local people get highway robbed by people whp do not live locally. This is more than scandalous!!! I want my money back!
I’ve heard the saying “stealth tax” but your case sounds ridiculous - like no one actually cares enough to sort it out.

It's old now! The new Medway tunnel will maybe ease the traffic?

100% agree. This tunnel reminds me of the 60s Tyne Tunnel before it's rebuild, and that was considered very unsafe before it.
Err, you can't smell Carbon Monoxide, it's odourless and tasteless.
