Re-rendered and optimized for high-definition (from interlaced to progressive), and subsequently re-optimized for video streaming.
This is Season 1, Episode 5, directed by Hal Sutherland and produced by Norm Prescott, and Lou Scheimer, a multi-media film of the kids performing in front of a live audience, with the cast performing western-related stunts, various slapstick jokes (thunderbolt theatre), music jokes (jukebox jokes), Ethel trying to capture Jughead, Mr Weatherbee building a tree (water) house, Betty getting bitter at a storybook (like someone who has a dream of their friends doing them wrong), and three songs, Hey Little One, Mr. Factory, and Love Land. This is the first episode that excludes Love Vibrations. The factory song comes out of the void to throw shade at industrial waste, car dependency, and littering, and ending on a sort of low tone, leaving the viewers to imagine that it'll get worse until someone comes in and generates change. Pretty much the concept behind The Lorax, the original film from 1972, not the 2012 movie.
This episode was included in the Archie's Funhouse Series DVD boxset from 2008.
