When I had major surgery on my stomach, I couldn't do much at all, I was told 0 for at least 3 months, I had to have a soft diet for weeks, so yes I can understand her recovery and I hope she gets better having surgery on your stomach isn't a breeze, and you have to go careful, wish the media would stop the speculation, leave the poor woman alone, and somethings have to remain private, she is human after all and why should she have her private stuff aired?? Leave her be let her recuperate in private

I can relate to you and Kate, as I had my gall bladder removed when I was 33. Recovery was hellish and slow. I wanted to watch comedies, but laughing hurt too much. If you have never been cut open, you won't understand how painful recovery is. And you need to wear loose clothes. We are used to seeing her in fitted suits, not practical to wear those for months.
Interesting point of view…Give her, “Privacy” we shouldn’t deny anyone the right to have privacy! Let’s just hope everyone remember this, the right to privacy is everyone’s right.

NO ONE takes a 70 day day break for just an abdominal surgery. Even coronary bypass nowadays only takes several days. I had a knee replacement and was discharged the next day. I am a retired nurse , critically trained and NEVER seen anyone with this much leave unless there are complications. I have my own opinion bt keeping it to myself..I hope she is ok.
True. My 80 year old stepfather just had heart ablation surgery and had complications mid surgery, and was discharged after two days from a private hospital
If you are wealthy you get different treatment compared to others…no matter what they have wrong with them. My theory is that if they want privacy…give it to them…why make a big deal out of it?I dont need to know her health status any more than she would be interested to know mine…or care to know…we are strangers

Well as a retired nurse you shouldn't make assumptions.Any type of surgery can have different timelines.I have seen patients who have had surgery and have been really ill after due to severe blood loss. Operations can affect people in different ways.It all depends how the surgery went.
