Rogers is not and they were a game away from the Superbowl. The Pack defense couldn't stop a nosebleed against the 49ers. And they could use a receiver or two. Like Mahommes in KC.
It's really not. 1) Favre was contemplating retirement every offseason so the Packers needed a plan in place for when he finally did. Rodgers has yet to do so. 2) Rodgers fell to the Packers, they didn't spend additional draft capital to get him the way they did for Love. The Packers were one game away from the Super Bowl last year and rather than get better, they spent 2 picks on a player they don't intend to play right away. 3) Rodgers numbers coming out of Cal were far superior to those of Love & he was far more polished.
