I concur. The varied roles he has played, he has done so convincingly. Everything from an Angel in The Preacher's Wife to the troubled Airline pilot in Flight to the corrupt cop in Training Day!
Denzel and his character portrayals are the definition of vengeance and justice! From the way he evaluates his surroundings. To the way he determines each of his victims will be held accountable. Pity is not spared, specially if you are his last one. How he gets close, face to face, eye to eye. Then stares into his opponent’s eyes watching the soul and last breath leaving them forever….

In my opinion Denzel is well and truly a Hollywood great and a legend and a icon and the 3 Equalizer film’s he truly is the Equalizer that is for sure and I am going to buy all 3 of his films because he truly is a very special and very talented actor and he look’s so cool and calm and yet he is one deadly assassin but plays this role to perfection that is for sure.
I love them all but Equalizer 3 is slowly becoming my favorite. Maybe there will be more!
Big bald bearded guy was the one that has made Denzel struggle the most in all the 3 series, by far. Pretty close call.
The editor and the sound effects people deserve some love too.

You know something epic is about to pop off when Denzel gets that look in his eyes and that lower crooked lip. Bad guys don't have a clue he's 9 seconds away from cancelling their Christmas.
I don't know, but it looks like he used a 6-shooter revolver for about 10 rounds at the 0:32 time stamp marker.

Compared to Tom Cruises and other celebrities who play the bad guy in films like this one, I think it’s about time that they look at black films as being popular and really enjoyed by the people. It seems like the black films are minimized by the industry as well and they should have more diversity of people winning awards for their work in films like this one. ❤

Equalizer's a tough guy. A legend. Probably some kinda Chuck Norris's cousin.
1) Had no time to reload. So shot continuous fire, 6 rounds or more, like a Phalanx, what's the problem ? That's a cost-effective scene.
2) Even knows how to make a damn corkscrew useful without any kinda fucking bottle.

He supposedly has an obsession with time and function and having been a former CIA black off of some sort they time themselves and how long it takes to take care of a problem or to disable an I studied some karate and self-defense classes that I taught and did and there is a time frame that when I'm watching other people do karate they spend a lot of time making motions and all that fancy what they call doctrines and training but in a street fight none of that really works anyway the actors that the person he's pretending to be has an obsession with certain things obsessive compulsive behavior is something that's ongoing for people it's habits they're used to doing something because they have other things to do and there's a time limit on a time frame on how long they think it's going to take or how long it's supposed to take to do a certain similar to children with is the time frame he looks at his plot his watch and then he focuses on what is about to do cuz he has to think it through first before he actually attacks his enemy

While the action itself may have dwindled I would certainly argue that the acting of Denzel Washington certainly has not, the little "We all end up where we're supposed to be." speech that he gives in the vineyard is personally one of my favorite dialogues Washington provides in trying to convey the gravity of the situation to his enemy
