- In this video, we take a dive into working with multiple video clips and separating/changing/moving/deleting the audio clips for your video project.
This request came from Robert Sandor. The question was "if you layer different tracks together, won't the audio overlap?" And yes it will! So I made this video showing how to deal with that.
Hopefully this helps people with their video editing since video and audio go hand in hand.
If you'd like to support the channel you may do so by purchasing one of my prints: kobie-mc.picfair.com

Great insight on how to make great videos!
One thing that stands out is the time and passion that you, and other CZcams creators put into making a channel a reality.
Thanks! 😊🤗
Thankfully I have an understanding wife lol. She supports me in everything I do and she knows the time it takes to make these videos but she understands the passion and reasons behind it all. Actually, next spring/summer, she's going to be my assistant so I'll actually get on site motion video of me! Finally lol.
It really is a good mount of work from start to finish.
@@KobieMC that in house understanding is amazing! I suffer from the same miracle... it's great!
Thank you so much for another important video.
No problem and thank you for the compliment! 🙂
Great demo! Even though VSDC doesn't have explicitly a multi-camera feature, I bet combining what we learned from this video and your previous one about multiple clips picture-in-picture, one actually can rig up a simple multi-cam edit by putting up to 4 clips on top of each other, syncing the audio by waveform (with Pro), sizing them to fit in a grid on the screen, shutting off audio on all but one of the clips, and then playing it through and cutting from shot to shot. Finally resize all the cut clips to the size of the screen. In the same vein, I started recording audio in Audacity and syncing to my video by reducing the video clip audio to -100 dB , deliberately not removing it in order to sync the wave form on the video with the audio (matching hand claps at start and end). Then after playing through to ensure the separate audio is fully synced with my lip movements, I cut both clips in place using the razor tool, and after deleting out the bad takes, disable the audio fully from the video clip. Glad to find a buddy to share bizarre VSDC ideas with! 😂
THANK YOU SO MUCH! I didn't know I could split/delete original video audio, and I've just been "silencing" it since I record audio separately from my camera. This led to weird "clicks" and "skips" between tracks and that is completely eliminated by removing original audio.
No problem! Glad I could help 🙂
Thanks! I’m totally new to editing. I appreciate the content 😊
You're quite welcome!
Thank you bro💯
No problem!

Another great video. I ordered a used K3-11 from KEH camera I'm not sure I need the new flagship camera. I plan on giving the K50 to my daughter- in- law my son has a K50 already so both of them can have the same camera . I want the K10 they have I bought it for my son in 2006 as it has CCD sensor with shake reduction
You'll be more than happy with the K-3 II. It's funny, EVERY time I see someone mention their K10d I end up wishing I never sold my K200d. Those CCD sensors were something special.
@@KobieMC I wish I would know that earlier 🤦. I just sold a K200D w/ 18-55 DAL WR for cheap. It was completely spotless.
@@MiguelNunoRochaSilvaPereira It's all good. 🙂
is it possible to add a video with multiple audio tracks lets say 3 different audio tracks, and seperate them from the video, like if you recorded music but its copyright then you would be able to remove that audio without removing your voice and application audio you want to keep
If the audio was recorded on separate devices (one device recording only your voice, another device recording the music, and another stand alone recording of the application), then yes. However, if you're recording your voice on a single device and ambient music is picked up during the recording, then no, you can't separate it since it's the same single audio track.
Any single recording can have the audio separated, muted or removed.
@@KobieMC well I'm seeing that the application is showing me 3 different recorded audio tracks, it says, video track 1 audio track 1, audio track 2, audio track 3, but I can't seperate them, I can't find the option for it,
