    Hey thanks for testing those molicels like I asked... I wanted to see them on a Lumen tube like you did... they performed how I expected... I talked to a guy at the 18650 store and asked how come the 45 is so much more then the 42... and he told me that the 45 is made with the best stuff available on the insides and will hold up a lot longer with running high performance lights and tools... but as far as the performance it wouldn’t really produce any better numbers than the 42... and he must be right because they were pretty much equal on the Lumens ... really appreciate you doing that... keep up the great work!!!

    Hi Joe! Just stopping to say hello. I have a Sofirn SP33S and like it! It has a great moonlight mode and use it at night for moving around without waking up others. If you want more lumens from the SP33S you'll need to lower the resistance on the tail end. Sofirn really needs to put a double spring in this flashlight to lower its contact resistance. Roll up a ball of aluminum foil, compress it and then place it between the tail spring and the back side of the battery. You'll get an extra 100 to 200 lumens. This effect will be greater when using the stronger Molicel battery. Thanks for the new video!

    The TS22 is the better flooder, but lacks any appreciable throw.
    By the way, using both lights at the same time doesn't show us anything. Thanks for all your reviews!

    There's no way an 18650 is going to outperform a 21700 regardless of brands, more capacity more amps. Get a 21700 molicel if you want to test these properly

    Hi, just the review I was looking for. I own the TS22, but was thnking about the SP33s or TS25 to add. However, looking at the beamshots, the TS25 was dismall. SP33s does throw but could see some tint shift around the hotspot though. TS22 nice even wall of light. So far TS22 and FC13(aSft40) is best combination IMHO. The recently released TS30SPro should be interesting too… Cheers and stay safe.

    Molicels are pretty much the gold standard if you want to have a reliable benchmark for maximum output comparisons. There's plenty of stress tests on the P45B that shows it can be continuously drained at 40A to empty without any issues, and you can burst drain it at 50A for short durations, what you'd typically see used from Turbo modes on lights. Currently on the market there's few lights that can stress 50 continuous Amps from a single cell 21700, so you'd be good testing any 21700 based light on the P45B and know you're getting as good a max lumen number as you're going to get.

    Thank you for this test, and for remembering me 😎👍. I learned from your latest reviews that there is another interesting brand, Mateminco. I look forward to your reviews and tests. I especially want to see how much the brightness of the flashlights drops or not in the first minutes. From your tests, I realized that one brand can have flashlights with a stable brightness, or it can be such that after a minute it decreases by half.

      +1 for the runtime test.
      You got that magical lumen tube which speaks the objective truth about those lovely lights. It's good to know how many of them lumens are useful after we set the flashlights on fire with the turbo.
      Thanks for the comparison video. I would be interested to see more like it. :)

    This resulf of comparison cells is because SP33S and ts22 use boost driver So cell doesnt matter

      Glad someone finally pointed this out! Flashlights with a FET driver will show a difference in output based on a battery's drain ratings. Flashlights with a buck/boost driver will only draw a certain amount, and as long as the OEM battery can supply it there will be no significant difference in output with a higher CDR battery. The only real difference will be runtime.

    Hi, I like to see test of 3 lights I own. You will only get more lumen with high drain batteries from lights with huge consuming LEDs. As an example and to stay with those 2 brands, TS30S with SBT90.2 is limited by the standard wurkkos 21700, it can't output as many amps as the driver/LED would accept. Same for Q8 plus. Those two lights will output more lumens with a high drain battery like P45B because they can drain more amps than the 10A average rating of standard wurkkos/sofirn 21700.
    Stay with standard wurkkos/sofirn 21700 5000mah is fine for the 3 lights of your video. The only upgrade you can do is going for a battery with more capacity, you will gain some autonomy. We are speaking of 5500mah batteries, so about 10% upgrade. Not worth it I think unlesss you get it very cheap.
    Hope it will help some flashlights fans.
    Thanks for your videos, keep it up :)

  • @37gdog
    @37gdog Před rokem +2

    From a user standpoint, it really makes no sense for Sofirn and Wurkkos to keep coming out with new models that really offer very little over existing models. A user doesn't need a light that has colored led's that aren't bright enough to be used for anything, like on the TS25. Seems gimmicky, like most Olights.

    • @lumntoob999
      @lumntoob999 Před rokem +6

      They are configurable so they can be useful. I have my TS25 set to red aux when locked and green when unlocked, that way I can glance at the light and know for sure it’s locked without having to pick it up and press the button. It may not seem like much but for my use it is actually really helpful.

      I agree, I love Wurkkos but they are trying to outcompete themselves. That's why I like Sofirn, most everything I've seen from them is an actual upgrade over older models. At the end of the day I tend to just stick with Hank lights. Don't get me wrong though I have like four wurkkos lights 😂 love the company but it's really hard to actually find something you want from them
