One of my favorites is an episode where Alan and Denny don't interact with each other until the very end and they're at the balcony, and Alan says "There you are. Haven't seen you all episode." Makes me laugh every time.
There's also a clip where Shore places a wooden box in the middle of the courtroom floor and stands on it. When the Judge asks what he's doing, he says "Climbing on my soapbox Judge, I do it once a week".
It garnered 7 to 10 million views when it aired, won a Peabody, and Spader won 2 Emmys-beating James Gandolfini in his last year on "The Sopranos". I don't think "underrated" is correct.
How about where there is the Scott Little trial episodes, Alan and Denny have a conversation. The gist is that Alan is basically, "there is a big case going on and neither of us is involved; usually isn't it supposed to be about us?"
When Jerry is up for partner in the final season, he talks about the possibility of him, Denny, and Alan getting a spinoff. He even asks Sack if he wants to be part of it.
I just saw a clip from a favorite ep.: They go fishing, Denny calls environmentalists "evildoers", and Alan says: "All of it reality, none of it scripted." 😂😂😂😂💗
I love every Episode, but especially the Breaking 4th wall scenes and where Allan would you usually Pick up the Cue Card to help Denny remember the lines for Bethany 😂😂😂
@@MrJamberee I meant "crazy" in a good way.☺ 2x23 wasn't even Kerry's 1st appearance with Alan. She worked a Death Row case him in sn 1, I think. That ep., (2x23) IS full of fourth wall breaks, tho. My favorite is 2x4: "Finding Nimmo" when Denny looks directly into the camera,😂 and later tells a lawyer "not to lecture him on the environment while he's trying to enjoy nature", and Alan replies: "All reality, none of it scripted."😆😂😂😂

I cam here to comment about this! Season 2 episode12! The first time the show broke the 4th wall!
"Denny Crane, I once piloted a starship" is still one of my favourites
Multi - Talented
There was also the one Alan says "The call them cling-ons", and Denny responds "Did you say, 'Klingons'?"
Denny's flip phone made a ST communicator chirp.
Breaking the fourth wall was ALWAYS one of the things I found most endearing about this show! And they always made it so cool and appropriate.
The people of Boston Legal were masters of breaking the 4th wall.
"Denny, I haven't seen you all episode!"
I said the same thing. My favourite 4th wall Break of Boston legal

Underrated show. The acting is sublime.

No.

There is a few then...... S5 - E7
This show is brilliant. It has it all. Great writing, acting comedy and drama.

I recall the one when Alan said something about why don't clients ask him to represent them because he's the star of the show
Yeah, on that ep about a gi and the Feres Doctrine
I love every Episode, but especially the Breaking 4th wall scenes and where Allan would you usually Pick up the Cue Card to help Denny remember the lines for Bethany 😂😂😂
Lmao “it’s the official firm greeting”
you missed one!! Where Allan's secretary says 'Don't fall for her Allan, she's just a guest star'
can you give me the name of the episode ?
season 2 episode 23, that episode is full of fourth wall breaks especially the first scene with kerry washington
@@MrAshiq844 It's crazier that Spader would go on to star as a lawyer in the Mamet play "Race", with Kerry, and two other actors, in 2010!
Alysia Mer David-Wasser The chemistry worked, so why not take advantage of it? There have been many movie and stage disasters due to bad chemistry.

i love “welcome to boston legal” lol not crane poole and schmidt. then “cue the music”. so fun
This show could teach Deadpool a thing or two about breaking the fourth wall.
Denny Crane saluted himself. How appropriate.
You can be the coolest person in the neighborhood but you will never be denny crane smoking a cigar and telling you to cue the music cool
You forgot one: Alan telling Denny. I harldy saw you, this episode. My favourite
There's also time Alan talks about going to cable.
The show where they attacked the network and advertisers who cancelled them was classic.
Absolutely brilliant
"They're called Klingons”....." Did you say Klingons?"
I have a silly question: Did those clips make it on air?
They all absolutely did, plus others. =)
Plus lots of others 😊
Yes they did!
Oh that fourth wall!
Brilliant!
Drama my ass, this is my favorite sitcom
Haven't owned a TV set for over 5 yrs.....missed all this...
This was a little longer ago than that…
Bertold Brecht can pack his stuff and leave. There's a new sheriff in town.
What's sad is they couldn't make a show like this today
Mainly because this show was made. The cancel culture types don't have the imagination or intelligene to be prevent culture types.
Spader the dog? Or in spades
The 4th wall doesn’t exist.....Denny Crane
Hearing you breathing in the background was a bit creepy though.
You missed a few......
I think Tony Soprano was filming this on his phone. The tip off? The heavy breathing.

Clarence annoyed the shit out of me in this show, everyone else i liked
