Absolutely fantastic. I really wish I had the opportunity to learn this style. I observed Guru start each attack with his right hand "chambered" over the heart/to left shoulder. Is that a defensive posture? What if insufficient time permits that movement before an attack? Really interested in anyone's point of view. THXX!
I understand about keeping your distance as they step into you but as a request what if the gap is closer that they don't need to step in how would it change your movement?

Yuh homie suffian bela diri silat is one of the best out of many silat systems although not always look the same but they have that practical application experience no matter which style of silat it is authentic and formidable in a self defense martial combat real live in an sudden unprovoked in immediate danger situation Oi.

if u payed attention, watched the entire clip carefully, u would not have to ask this question. he showed is several times.
Don't look too much at the type of strike thrown but the line of fire and the weapon they are using to attack.

Maybe they consulted with him! Knife fighting, fight choreography, etc! He's very stoic looking when he isn't smiling, so I think he'd make a great villain.

Be real everybody you can't coordinate strikes
You don't. You just train to follow through if the first hit didn't down the opponent.
Or, you can simply not train anything and accept your fate once a conflict arises.
Or, you can learn to avoid conflict whether you practice any martial art or not.
Stil cant figure out if Maul is the Bruce or the Lee with knifes ,maybe bothe!!
