Jesus promised to build his church so that the gates of hell would not prevail against it (Matt 16:18), it would be surprising if he didn’t he give us the plans he intended to follow. 1 Timothy contains Jesus's instructions for building a healthy church. In this letter we find our priorities, our leadership structure, our belief system, and the expectations God has for us as its members.
