As an Indian, I get confused when people describe something as curry😅 because it doesn't exist in India. It's just an umbrella term for anything gravy. So to say "Oh this smells like curry" is same as saying "oh this tastes like vegetable" (which one? Because they all taste different 😅)

One of the best Pani puris in town. Very clean & hygienic. They use bottled mineral water to make these. So very safe to eat Pani Puris at this place.
*2. Sardar Pav Bhaaji - (area - Tardeo in Mumbai)* -
The best and the most buttery Paav Bhaaji on Planet Earth.
*3. Bade Miyan - Late night place - is open till 3 am or so (area - near Taj hotel & the Gate way of India in Mumbai)*
A late night place, patrons eat in their cars, but has a seating area as well. Famous for their wraps, Tikkas, Tandooris & barbecued stuff.
*4. Leopold Cafe (area - Colaba causeway in Mumbai)* - Nice beer, barbecues, nice desserts.

Jessica you guys are super adorable! Please go easy on the street food. There are plenty of decent restaurants that offer really great versions of the popular street foods. That will be a much more hygienic choice. In spite of being Indian, have to admit that unfortunately a lot of street food is not hygienically prepared. Be discerning! Also make sure you have your antacids in place. The spices in Indian food will be a lot more forgiving with antacids. And make sure to drink bottled water only.
